Unable to schedule meetings using Linux client

I've been trying to use the Zoom desktop client on Linux but I've been unable to get the "Schedule a Meeting" functionality to work.  When I click on "Schedule" from the main screen, a new window open but it is completely blank and non-responsive.  I can't close it and it stays open even when I close the main app screen.  Ultimately, I have to kill it from the System Monitor.  I've tried this on multiple distributions (e.g. Ubuntu 22.04.3, Zorin OS 17, PoP!OS) and they all do the exact same thing.   Is this an Ubuntu issue (I realize these are all based on Ubuntu)?  I haven't tried it yet with Fedora but was curious if anyone else had seen this problem.

Starred Contacts disappeared and won't save

About a month ago I noticed all my starred contacts disappeared in the Zoom Windows app. I've readded them several times but after a day or two they will disappear again. The only contact that does not get deleted is the single internal/company contact on this list. All cloud contacts and personal contacts are removed. Is anyone else having this problem and found a resolution?

But since Zoom implemented their own surveys, it looks to me like you guys quietly gutted this feature. Is this feature still available? If not, maybe update your docs so there's no confusion.

Classic whiteboard gets deleted if I share a different screen then come back to it

I'm on Zoom Version 6.3.11 (50104) on MacBook Air MacOS 15.3.2 (24D81)

 

I have been teaching online since lockdown and I use Classic whiteboard for notes.  I often switch to share a webpage or a pdf then come back to the whiteboard and continue the notes.  This works fine.  I share the notes with the student after the lesson.

 

Today, following the update, every time I switch back to Classic whiteboard all the notes are gone and I've got a blank whiteboard.  This is exceedingly disruptive as we normally carry on with the same calculations through the lesson and now all the work we've done is gone every time we come back after looking at a different screen, for example, the pdf of the problem we're working on.

 

I explain to the students that every once in a while Zoom releases an update that ruins everything, and it's happened again.

 

Please can someone direct me to the setting that makes the Classic whiteboard remain intact if you stop sharing it, share a different screen, then come back to it?

Waiting Room

When I start Zoom, I have to let all participants into the meeting. How can I ensure that the participants automatically enter the meeting without letting them in individually? What settings do I need to make?

The camera adjusts to my position and I don't want it to.

How do I change this effect on the camera? I don't want it to follow me or zoom in/out. I need the camera to stay still and focus on what I want. Thank you!

Custom Emojis in Zoom Meetings

We can upload custom emojis in Zoom Team Chat, why can't we use them in the in-call chat in Zoom Meetings? Seems like an easy change.

I am trying to connect a building alarm panel dialer to an AudioCodes 1288. No matter the settings I change the modem lines don't seem to synch up. I monitor the line connected to the legacy PBX and the communication seems the same. I know there is some delay which is probably causing the issue. I see modem settings in the Audio Codes, but the recommended Fax settings from Zoom seem to be interfering with them. 

 

Has anyone had any luck when attempting this before. I have also tried with a Grandstream ATA with no luck.
