Hello ,

I am having problems turning on and off my projector using my TAP controller.

When I built Zoom Conference rooms it was simpler to connect with my LG 86" Monitors with the network and code . But the projectors are just not working, and I do not have the level to do more code in dept to make it work I will explain it. I have designed a Zoom room classroom, and everything works great except the projectors . I had  help with the Json program for the TV monitors, but it is not working for the projectors, and this is my only problem . It was once a Crestron Room, but it had no Hybrid system .So to cut costs and make the room  better for a classroom Zoom room I changed it all except the amp and the Speakers . If someone could help me with some connecting diagrams, and any code that would help it would be very appreciated  . Also, I have been reading information and  they say you need to have the rs232 db. 9 connected to Extron and VGA  and do not use  HDMI . I do not think this is true or is there a way I can use rj45 network with a DB9 adapter or just network on its own . Any help will do . Thank you for your time .

I have audio issues and would like recommendations for the microphone system we can use to improve the quality of our meetings.
Recomendations welcomed!!

Hello! I have a problem with the audio connection during the conference, for some reason the sound is lost during the screen demonstration in the browser, I can't hear the interlocutor and I can't hear myself. Please, how can I fix it? I have 2 GB of RAM on a 64-bit processor, maybe because of this. I need to optimize the sound during screen sharing.

We followed these excruciating steps in the Zoom KB article and were able to get the Dedicated 365 service account added to the Calendar Integration in the Zoom Rooms (zoom.us web UI). However, this solution doesn't work. There are no instructions on how to get the Room resources (created via the same KB article)  added as Calendars to the Zoom Room. We tried it both App-level and Full Delegate method. We just get:

Office365 0 total , 0 assigned Jan 12, 2024Jan 12, 2024 09:16 PM ReauthorizeSync CalendarsDelete

in the Calendar Integration list. Also, when trying to +Add A Calendar in the Zoom Room  page, it lists the dedicated account calendar but there is no option in the "select a service recource" box. I am guessing we are supposed to see the Room Recource the KB had us add.

Zoom Service is a joke, 3 days and no response. We pay $700 year for Zoom services and get zero support. This forum had very little by way of troubleshooting and/or verifying this arduous 365/ZR setup.

If someone (end user) figured this out, and is still alive after the ordeal, it would be great if you could shed some insight into this for us.

Zoom Rooms Auto Populate Microsoft Calendar Information

Purpose of this post:

Provide steps on how I was able to have a Zoom Room add its meeting details (URL, ID, passcode, etc.) to a calendar invite as either the sender or recipient. This post assumes you have already synced calendars from zoom to Microsoft and properly setup the Zoom Room in M365.

When I setup my Zoom Room, I wanted staff to be able to book the room through Microsoft Outlook with the following conditions happening automatically:

- Zoom Room would automatically start with out user intervention

- Zoom Room's meeting URL Meeting ID, Passcode, and dial-in numbers would be sent to guests in the calendar invite.

  • Why would any of your staff know what this was if it was sent out automatically?

- The Zoom Room would auto accept meetings (done in m365 resource room setup)

The problem I faced was the Zoom Room would delete the details of all calendar invites when it auto accepted meeting room invites. Not sure if this is a default setting in M365 business or another admin enabled it at some point in the past. So this was a problem because Zoom Rooms won't automatically start a meeting and won't show the Start button on the tablet unless it has the meeting URL somewhere in the Zoom Rooms calendar invite.

Here is how I got around this and also included are the M365 work flow rules I created so the Zoom Room calendar resource would provide meeting details to guest as sender or recipient.

Resolve issue with M365 deleting the Outlook details when the Resource Room accepts the calendar invite:

  • Open Powershell as admin on your computer.
  • Enter this command: Connect-ExchangeOnline -UserPrincipalName example @ exampleaddress . com
  • Enter this command next: Set-CalendarProcessing -identity "Name of the Resource mailbox" -DeleteComments $false

The next step is to add meeting invites anytime adds the Zoom Room as a resource in Outlook or uses the Zoom Room calendar to schedule a meeting.

Go to https://portal.office.com > admin > exchange > Mail Flow > Rules (As of January 2024)

Sending Room Invite from Outlook to Zoom Room resource:

  • Apply this rule if: The Recipient > is this person: use resource email address
  • Do the following:
Apply a disclaimer to the... > append a disclaimer
    • Append: Type the message you want. I included the zoom rooms meeting URL and the meeting ID, passcode, and phone numbers. You can use HTML here for line breaks.
  • The fall back action is set to 'Wrap'

Sending Room Invite from Zoom Room's calendar to recipients:

  • Apply this rule if: The Sender > is this person: use resource email address
  • Mirror the other steps from the previous entry.

Has anyone seen an issue where a brand-new Zoom Rooms system will not properly feed video to connected displays? Zoom Rooms is running on a preconfiged Lenovo PC and has two 85 in displays attached. When logging into the ZoomRoomsAdmin account the displays work as expected. When logging into the ZoomRooms account and having Zoom Rooms app run the 85 in displays sometimes show the Zoom app screen but it freezes and will not display any system changes. The clock at the top of the screen does not advance and no meeting or content video is displayed. Occasionally the displays will freeze showing a blue background with the word Connecting.

Unable to remotely launch some Zoom Room controllers

This is weirdly only affecting some of our Zoom Rooms, not all. I try to launch the controller of a room from the admin portal, but get hit with the attached "Cannot connect to Zoom Rooms" screen. Any ideas on why this may be the case?

Hello,

How can I add my external clients Zoom Rooms to my Contacts, so I can more easily give them access to meetings I start in my Zoom Room?

Thanks.
