I am having issues and it seems impossible to find a resolution.  Something that is required by a company that you pay for a service from should not be so difficult to do.   I have created, deleted, created again, deleted, checked to make sure my companies information was correct as it is with State and Federal offices, created, deleted again and then created again.  This is getting ridiculous.  I have so many different error codes and cant seem to get any assistance.  Hopefully someone here may know something.   Here is what I get now.

i have an issue with the mobile Android zoom app, and hoping someone might have an idea how to fix.  My work recently switched us all to zoom phone numbers.  I have Zoom installed on my phone, logged in with my work account, as sometimes I take calls on the road.  I have all notifications for zoom turned off on my phone, however whenever I get a zoom call on my work number, my phone still buzzes. It was happening all during my holiday PTO, and driving me nuts trying to figure it out, and I finally realized what was happening today when I was on a zoom mtg and got a notification of a call just as my phone started buzzing.  Any idea how to REALLY turn notifications off from zoom on my phone??

Zoom Phone desktop user can not answer calls

We have a user that uses both the desktop app and a desk phone. Whenever he try's to answer an incoming call on his desktop app, it moves the call under his Lines tab but doesn't pickup the call. On the other end of the call it will continue to ring ... Show more

We have a user that uses both the desktop app and a desk phone. Whenever he try's to answer an incoming call on his desktop app, it moves the call under his Lines tab but doesn't pickup the call. On the other end of the call it will continue to ring until you get their voicemail message. everything works as it should on the desk phone, and even after disabling the desk phone in the Call Handling menu the same issue persists.

I would like to know how I can setup a separate line appearance on phones that could ring if this number is called, even if the phone has business hours setup.  The scenario is as follows:  We have times when employees might need to get ahold of someone that is still in office outside of normal office hours.  The phones are setup for business hours of 8am-5pm, and if you call the number of that phone after hours, it does not ring and goes to VM.  We would like to have a priority line that would ring on certain phones no matter the time of day and if business hours are setup on that line. 

 

Is this possible and if so, how could I do this?

 

If not, is there a work around solution that could be used as an emergency line that would ring on several phones so it could be heard after hours?

I've set up my new business phone number and voicemail. I called the number using another phone and heard the greeting and left a voicemail. Went to check it on both the phone app and the desktop app, but no phone call was listed nor was there any voicemail recorded. I repeated this from another phone and got the same results. It's just me so there are no other places that they could go. I've been assigned an extension so I thought I should try forwarding to user (me), but as it's just me it wouldn't let me. I'm not sure where else to problem-solve.

A couple of our users a experiencing issues when messaging clients in group chats. I got first reports of this on 12/13/23

 

Scenario:

- Employee 1 creates a chat with employee 2 and 1 client.

- Employee 1 can see responses from the client in the group chat.

- Employee 2 responds, employee 1 gets the response as if #2 were sending a txt directly to them. This happens with all group chats they are in.

 

Replicating the scenario:

- I create a group chat with employee 1, 2, and my personal cell.

- I send the initial txt I send out from my personal, employee 1 gets the group txt like they should

- I have employee 1 respond to the group. It comes through normally.

- Employee 2 responds and it comes through as a separate txt on my personal, same for employee 1. 

 

One thing I noticed recently is that there are only 3 users assigned to the SMS Campaign I had created 6+ months ago. There were at least 180 previously. But one of the 3 numbers that were still on the campaign was employee 2. 

 

Im the account owner and I know I didn't remove all of our users from the SMS Campaign... Im stumped on the users SMS issues as well.

Does anyone have a timeline of when SMS Short Codes will be supported. We ported our numbers in and all two factor authentication texts aren't being delivered. This is an integral part of authentication on the web and if you advertise SMS on your platform, you should be able to do Short Codes.

I have a Yealink T41P which is listed as certified hardware, however there is a caveat in the Yealink notes section which states that ZTP is allowed only once on this model post it's EOL date in June 2020.

 

The assisted provising guide appears to indicate a way to provision the phone should ZTP not work. Based on this can I assume that the Yealink T41P should work bar any other unrelated issues?

 

If this is the case, is there a way to test the phone to ensure it works and can be provisioned prior to signing up?

I am just looking for some simple guidance, I am integrating Zoom with ServiceNow and Have done many Zoom-Snow integrations before, but this one has me a bit perplexed.

I just need to know how to update the SITE, NUMBER(S) and PACKAGE. Does anyone know what is the proper API to hit those fields under PHONE SYSTEM MANAGEMENT ==> Users & Rooms

Zoom Phone PWA outbound call drops immediately

I'm trying to get our company set up with the Zoom PWA on Chromebooks to use with Zoom Phone. The Zoom Phone icon is showing up correctly on the PWA, and I can receive inbound calls no problem. 

 

The issue is when I try to make outbound phone calls - the call drops immediately. This is true for both outbound calls to a 10 digit phone number and internal extension to extension calls. From the PWA front end, it says "Call Ended". On the admin console when looking my account's call history, it says the "Result" is "Call failed". One last observation is that the receiving number gets a very brief incoming call notification before it disappears (when the call drops).

 

When I make outbound calls on the same Zoom account using a mobile app or PC desktop client, it does not have any issues. 

 

Anyone else seeing this issue?
