My user using poly vvx250 phone set, why does a local incoming call the caller ID marked with a "+" in front of the caller ID?  Normally any local calls the caller ID should not have a "+".  And now the user cannot return calls based on the caller ID in the phone set call history because the caller ID starting with "+" sign is not a valid local phone number pattern.  How can I remove the "+" sign in the incoming caller ID?

Voicemail number declaration

Hi does anyone know if there is a way to turn off the declaration for who called when listening to voicemail? IE "voicemail from 123-456-7890..." need to do this on a mass scale.

Is everyone on my team required to get a user license? Or do I just get a license for myself and then assign additional phone lines to my team? I don't understand if each person needs a license and extension first before we can add an additional dire... Show more

Hello all,

I am troubleshooting an issue where the caller ID information is dropped/changed, to the transferee, when the call is transferred  to a call queue. 

Here is the scenario, I called from my cell phone to our main office number, auto-attendant answers, I went through the prompts to reach Customer Service (this is a call queue of 3 extensions, including the receptionist, set to ring successively [CS rep1 -> CS rep2 -> Rcpt]) if the call makes it to the receptionist and they answer the call and then transfer it back to the Customer Service queue, the caller id info changes from the Caller's info to the receptionist's info.

If the receptionist transfer the call direct to an extension the caller ID remains correct.

The call logs don't seem to help with this issue.

The Customer Service reps claim this only recently started happening. The receptionist claims calls for customer service to her phone have recently become more frequent.

Any ideas?

Recently Zoom calling my phone for audio results in "accepted", but the phone never rings. So who is accepting the Zoom connection if my phone is not? This ALWAYS fails on first call, and works on second call. How to get Zoom to fix?

I have recently come across an issue using my zoom phone.

 

I will enter a phone number ex. 415-555-1234

Zoom will automatically enter a (1) at the beginning of the number but it is not visible and, therefore, you cannot remove it.

 

I am having issues because sometimes I get an automated msg that says "the number you have dialed is not long distance. You do not need to add a 1 in front of the number" and then the call won't go through.

Just now, I had a voicemail automated attendant that said "in order to leave a message for the client, please enter their phone number and area code" - this is to cut back on spam messages I assume. When I entered the number, the auto attendant said " 1 415 555 1234" is not a valid number. I didn't enter the 1.  Zoom did this on it's own.

We recently set up audio intercoms for all users.  When we click on the intercom icon on the lines tab, nothing happens for about 10 seconds and then the system places a phone call to the user selected.  Neither party's phone beeps, as they should.  Neither party is one the phone, etc.  All phones have Zoom devices selected to receive intercom.  What am I missing?

When someone transfers a call, the caller ID come up as the person who transferred the call. Is there away to make the caller ID come up as the person who made the call??

Zoom Phones AUD/NZ

Yesterday our phones worked perfectly, today we have incoming calls but when we answer the line goes dead, same happens when we call out. So frustrating and upsetting for our clients, it really isn't good enough.All we did was download the 'new' desk... Show more

So frustrating and upsetting for our clients, it really isn't good enough.
