I am trying to import Key assignements and keep getting the following error message.

The amount of line keys (of the Line type) is incorrect.

I can do the MASS import but it doesn't let you pick a Key number so it scrambles my keys and makes training difficult.

I want to put 5 Parks on keys 6-10.  I have a lot of users so doing this by hand is out of the question.

Here is my CSV File Contents

Key,Key Type,Key Assignment,Alias,Outbound Caller ID
6,Call Park,*801,Park 1
7,Call Park,*802,Park 2
8,Call Park,*803,Park 3
9,Call Park,*804,Park 4
10,Call Park,*805,Park 5

My company uses the Polycom CCX700 series phones as Zoom Appliances.  Does anyone know of any way to turn down the keypad volume?  When you are on a call and you need to turn up the volume to hear the speaker, the next time you dial out, the DTMF tones are freakishly loud.  I know the solution is to turn the volume down, but is there any way to separate the call volume from the dial pad volume?

Resolved! Can you have a live person answer first and if not available goes to auto receptionist?

We want to have incoming calls answered live.  If no one is available to take the call then it goes into the auto receptionist.  Is this possible with Zoom phone?

I am just starting with the phone system.  It seems to add a contact, I must download my contacts from Microsoft 365 or Google.

I have tried both and get a failure message.  That is understandable for Microsoft 365 which is a company account with strict permissions.  But the Google account I am trying to connect to is a personal Google account.

I feel like this phone system is not working for me because I need to be able to save contacts, preferably on a one by one basis.  I am willing to import from Google but an unable.

 How do I get contacts into Zoom?

Thank you!

Thanks!

My team uses the Polycom CCX700 series phones with the group call pickup feature in order to pick up each other's calls.  What we are finding is that these phones will intermittently give out a momentary burst of white noise/static (while the alert tone is playing) whenever calls come in for other members of your GCP group.  Getting this recorded is nearly impossible because it is so intermittent. Has anyone else noticed this behavior?

Hi!

We recently converted to Zoom Phone. We acquired two Yealink VP59 Zoom Phone Appliance hardphones through Zoom's HaaS.

We have discovered the following issues about the resident Zoom app on these devices:

  • The physical # hard key does not send the the call as it does on other Yealink devices, so you can't just dial using the physical keypad, you need to tap the touch screen handset icon 📞;
  • There is no option to Park a call;
  • Calls parked from your own line on the desktop or iOS app do not show up under Lines, like they do in the Zoom app for those devices;
  • Linked Google account contacts do not show up in Contacts, like they do on the Mac desktop app; however today's calendar events DO show up on the Home tab;
  • Speed Dial internal users who have desk phones appear as Offline if they are not signed into the desktop soft phone or mobile app. The same is also true in the Contacts list;
  • External Users phone numbers set up under Phone System Management > Company Info > External Contacts show up in Contacts as Offline with a meetings icon 🎥, but no phone icon 📞 - which doesn't make much sense. It would be interesting to be able to specify home, work, mobile numbers for a contact, and have applicable icons appear.
  • Users' mobile numbers set up under their profiles do not show up anywhere in the app.
  • Since the VP59 is considered as a Zoom Application (not as a Desk Phone), there is no provision for establishing preferences for Call Handling priorities. For example, I would like the VP59 to be my primary phone device that rings as part of the Call Queue, direct, or as an extension but my iOS Zoom app would ring if I don't pick up a direct call or extension call to the VP59. If I leave the Zoom app open on my desktop, I don't want it to ring at all because I use it primarily for meetings.
  • Although not specific to the VP59, it would be great to be able to Click to Dial on my computer in an internet browser, email, address book, etc or from contacts in the soft phone app, and have the call initiated on my VP59 or other model desk phone.

I know that the last two bullet items were eluded to in one of the sessions during Zoomtopia as potential future features.

Any thoughts? Does anyone else have any advice about using the Yealink or Poly Zoom Phone Appliances?

Thanks,

Craig
