In a zoom conference, are there any cases where the way the audio is heard differs depending on the settings on the recipient side (excluding the quality of the radio wave condition)?
If so, how should I set it to resolve the audio problem?

List names in audio recording transcript

When reviewing the audio transcript closed caption .VTT file, I noticed there are no names listed in the transcript. Is there a way to enable or list the named for the closed caption transcript for Pro accounts?

Resolved! How to update Zoom

On Sun. Oct. 8 I went on to Zoom (that I had set up) for our family Thanksgiving meeting. I could NOT get on as it kept telling me to update, and contact my Tech Dept. This is a HOME computer so I AM the Tech dept. No matter what I do in Zoom or try ... Show more

On Sun. Oct. 8 I went on to Zoom (that I had set up) for our family Thanksgiving meeting.  I could NOT get on as it kept telling me to update, and contact my Tech Dept.  This is a HOME computer so I AM the Tech dept.  No matter what I do in Zoom or try to research I can't update it.  There is no CHECK FOR UPDATE option in my settings, when I click on my picture.

 

It does work fine on my other laptop.

 

Help please!

yes so every time I boot Zoom on macOS Ventura 13.0.1 i get this modal notification saying:

“Retry” & “Close” buttons

Retry never works. Can use existing install version which is Version: 5.11.6 (9890)

haven't been able to restart mac and see if that helps yet.

known issue?

Hi, I just am having trouble with connecting to audio I just don't know how to remove it on my Chromebook it's annoying and I don't know how to put a stop to it since it'll load for about 10 minutes and not connect then it messes with the screen and will turn it black on the app. It is the free version and that really might explain that but I am not 100% sure

audio transcript transcribing

I recorded. Have the video and the audio but for some reason the transcript seems to be frozen at the Transcribing stage? any help? first time that this happened. I left it for quite awhile but after 1,5hr is still transcribing

Also, what is the best practice for setting up an online room with a weekly regular schedule, is there anything like that?

I've tried to:

Reinstall the app
change the Video Rendering Method to Direct3D11 as I read to do somewhere

This didn't solve it

i have no issues on my laptop.
