Unable to Sign in or Join a Meeting. (Error Code 5003)

I got several users who cannot join to a meeting or login to their Zoom client. I got an error code for unable to join meeting (Error 5003). The login attempt, there is no error code but just a message "It looks like we are unable to connect. Please check your network connection and try again". It only happened to 3 users out of 20. 

 

2 users with login issues are on windows 11 and the 1 user who cannot join a meeting is on windows 10. 

 

They have no proxy enabled on their PC and there is no firewall block rule for Zoom. I have also changed the DNS address to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 but no luck. 

 

All the users are on Zoom 5.16.10. Is anyone able to provide me with some insight?

Resolved! How to send to clients a recorded zoom meeting with a time line to expire after viewing or 1 week

I want to send a recorded zoom meeting to client, with a determined time for expire.  To view for 1 week and the link of recording is nolonger open for viewing. 

Could someone give me clear step by step to do this?

Before you say it's my computer or my laptop is the culprit that the app freezes constantly at a random interval, no. This bullcrap has been showering me with lots of freezes and disconnection issues ever since the new update from October.

 

Devices that I tested:

*My LAPTOP specs (the main device I use because it's the only one with a webcam):

-Ryzen 5 5500u 6c/12t

-16GB DDR4-3200

-1TB SK Hynix P31 Gold NVMe SSD Main Drive

-Windows 11 Pro

 

*My PC specs:

-MSI Tomahawk X570S ATX AM4 Wifi Motherboard

-Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8c/16t w/ Noctua NH-U12A Cooler

-Radeon RX 6800 16GB GDDR6

-64GB DDR4-3600 (XMP Profile Enabled)

-2x 1TB NVMe SSD, 2x 2TB SATA SSD

-Windows 11 Pro

 

Both devices suffered from constant freezes with the Meeting app even on my powerful computer.

1) have a setting to allow host/co-host announcements be posted to all incoming participants who arrive after the announcements. best it this can be an option on the host/co-host chat window.

2) the new interpretation configuration prohibited the host from hearing the meeting. also participants could not hear what was being said the in the main meeting unless they chose the presentation language

Your speaker is not working properly

it says it cannot record guest.  i keep getting this message.  yes, i have checked zoom for updates.  it says i am up to date.

Using Zoom version 5.16.10 on a Thinkpad with an Intel Core i7-5600U (4x 3.2GHZ) with Mesa Intel HD Graphics 5500 with Arch Linux (kernel v.6.6.6)

 

Zoom provides the option to select a virtual background without a greenscreen, but selecting any of the available options changes nothing, and upon reopening the options the selection has reverted to None.

 

Please advise.

Zoom does not seem to open in Windows 10/11, it displays a "Zoom quit unexpectedly" error message before successfully booting into the application.

 

Device information: 

  • Manufacturer: Dell
  • OS: Windows 11, have also tried on Windows 10.
  • Specs: 16gb RAM, 1Tb SSD, intel integrated graphics

Extra information:

  • Zoom allowed on Firewall
  • Reinstalled multiple times
  • Installed from Microsoft Store and Zoom downloads centre
  • Anti virus not impacting download

I have two issues when I create/schedule new meetings.

 

1.  My personal email addresses list in the “FROM” line and I am not able to change them or add my business email even though my business email is on my zoom account.  How can I add my business email address as a “From” option?

 

2.  I am unable to add client email addresses in the “TO” line.  Do I have to add all of my clients into the contacts before I can schedule a meeting with them?

Resolved! Recording locally with free basic account.

I have a free Basic account. I should be able to record my meetings locally, but there is no red record button on my screen. There is no option in my meeting settings to enable recording. How do I record my meetings?
