I have just tried to have a one to one zoom call with someone I speak with regularly (weekly over the last months) She was in the waiting room 10:05, call due at 10:15 I started the call at 10:15 as the host.

 

She didn't show in my waiting room for me to allow her in.

 

I checked the meeting ID a number of times. I had received an email to say she had entered the waiting room - with the correct ID - at 10:05.

 

I closed and restarted the call but still she didn't appear in my waiting room - we connected by phone in the end.

 

However this is a major problem as I used zoom for 12 regular scheduled calls a week. This is the first time I have experienced this problem.

 

Please help, or direct me where I can get help for this. I have Zoom Pro, using windows PC client 5.17.7. Thank you

My device still uses zoom normally, but recently my zoom has the problem: Lost the other person's video, I can't see them.
I have uninstalled zoom and reinstalled it twice, downloaded the new zoom and still have the same problem.

Hi 

I don't know if this question has been made in the past but I 've a certain  hurry to connect a room and  I'm afraid to don't succed in doing it  at schedule.  

I've a  link in my email  to connect  to the meeting, it works on my Mobile  but  it doesn't work if I open it my Chromebook.

When I click  on it, Chrome opens  and tells : Url not found...etc..

 

Please help!!

Under utilised space on widescreen monitors in Speaker view

I have an ultrawide monitor and like to use Speaker view when on video calls. But with the other participants displayed above the current speaker, I still find I have to scroll using the blue arrow buttons to see others, even though I have lots of sp... Show more

I have an ultrawide monitor and like to use Speaker view when on video calls. But with the other participants displayed above the current speaker, I still find I have to scroll using the blue arrow buttons to see others, even though I have lots of space either side due to the width of my monitor.

For me it displays a max of 6 participants above the current speaker, but feel it could fit another 4 or so. It would be great if support could be considered for this, to use the entire width of the Zoom window.

Allow writing permission to people on white boards

Hello 

Since the new version of Zoom I can't give people the permission to write on my white board or give them the right to access the tools to write from their tablets. Can you help me?

 

inviting user gives error code 1000 "This email address cannot be added to this Zoom account."

Inviting account: Pro

 

Invited user: Basic account holder

 

Both manual invitation and csv upload fails with same error code.

  2. Click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the Meeting tab.
  4. Under In Meeting (Basic), click the Meeting Polls/Quizzes toggle to enable or disable it.
  5. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.

     

    However, I can't find the "Meeting Polls/Quizzes toggle". I have checked many and many times!

New Zoom Clients Won't Launch (Windows)

I have used Zoom since 2020 and I have updated my version (5.13.7) few times (I'm not sure to what I have deleted it) and new updates (5.17.x) won't launch after a successful installation. I checked installer log and it did exit with code 0 indicatin... Show more

I have used Zoom since 2020 and I have updated my version (5.13.7) few times (I'm not sure to what I have deleted it) and new updates (5.17.x) won't launch after a successful installation. I checked installer log and it did exit with code 0 indicating it was successful. After installation Client will simply won't launch as if nothing happened. Won't show an error code won't show anything it will just won't do anything when I try to launch it. I tried installing with antivirus disabled, ran as admin, closed every other application after using the official uninstaller "CleanZoom" on the official zoom website and yet nothing will change and it won't launch. I can't issue a ticket as it gets closed immediately and get "we can't respond at this moment" automated response and can't chat with a bot as it simply doesn't understand any question asked. I cannot contact Zoom whatsoever, I need this fixed ASAP because Zoom allowed me to use the 5.13.7 version until now but it demands me to update it now and wont even let me join meetings. Zoom is crucial to me as all my classes are held in Zoom and I am forced to use the Web version for now. It is truly enraging to see Zoom only responds to paid versions and won't let their users contact them. I have done everything within my knowledge to run the new (5.17.7) Zoom Desktop Client and nothing worked so far. If you also have problems or may have an idea what causes this please let me know.
