Hi,
I am thinking of canceling my Zoom Pro account
Will I lose access to past recordings?
We had a problem today with Zoom, my wife runs training with some done online, and is all setup on Zoom, been doing it for years - she uses other platforms for other customers but zoom has been her preferred choice - up until today. Today we struck a landmine planted by the Zoom techo's that caused major problems in her business, it was a failure of the Zoom product. To force an app update before proceeding into a scheduled meeting is annoying but its something that the Zoom business seems to accept as something they can force on their customers who are trying to get into a meeting on time / rather than doing a little more tech work and allowing customers to do the update after the meeting they are going into right now. This happens a lot. Today however, we get the message do an update - then it says that we are not authorised to do the update and have to get our IT department to do it. This sends us into a spin, paying clients are logging into this meeting, zoom was tested as working fine in the normal pre meeting check, and now go to log back in and Zoom has (by choice of zoom tech) locked us out mandating an update but not allowing us to do the update with a message that makes no sense - we are the owner/admin and dont have an IT department. After trying to sort things out I finally found a note on Zoom support saying that the message can occur due to some bad environment on the PC when it was installed (its been running for a couple of years) and to uninstal and reinstall Zoom (this fixed it but broke a whole lot of the customer things needed in the days meeting). We were into the training session 30 minutes late. What a dissappointing load of rubbish to have as a support message and maybe a sign that Zoom are on the down, its obviously a known issue but rather than own it to simplify the customer experience they say that a product that is installed directly from a link on their website fails randomly due to something thats nothing to do with them. This sort of unexpected failure is a risk for any business, having a tool thats needs to work do something in this way implies it could do it anytime in the future. Is anyone else having this problem - any ideas how we can avoid having it happen again ?

I have a scheduled meeting tomorrow. There will be 12 people in the meeting plus myself as the main host. I plan is to have 3 breakout rooms during the Zoom Meeting. Can I assign a host to each breakout room so they can present their slide/information to their group? Thank you for assistance.

We are a small group who uses zoom to have meetings. I usually schedule the meetings but I can't be always available. We have a plan that is paid for up to 100 people. It is a Zoom One Pro account. Is there a work around to have someone else be present for the meeting that does not cost? We are a small quilt guild. I leave the room open so people join when the meeting starts but sometimes I am not available.

How can I set audio to my iPhone/pods while using my desktop computer for video (so using two devices simultaneously), and do so without showing as two participants in the meeting? I don't see any options to do this under settings or in a mock meeting session. I need to toggle from using a webcam mic on my desktop due to the loud echo and want to find / test a workaround for this. I've also tried connecting my iPods to my desktop to see if Zoom recognizes them as an audio source but no luck there either! Thanks! Thank you!

Every time I use Zoom, it starts out fine but within about 15 minutes my screen turns blue. It doesn't matter what my video background setting is. I'm on a Windows 11 Dell laptop. I've gone into Advanced video settings but nothing I've done has fixed the issue. I'd appreciate suggestions from those who have had this issue as to how to fix it.

Why are the participant's names appearing in the corner of the screen on recorded Zoom meetings even when I am asking it to not do this under settings? I am reading on here that others are having the same issue. Is this only a problem with the free version or are paid members having this issue too? How long has this been happening? I did a recording in December & did not experience this issue. I need the names to not display for privacy reasons. When will this be resolved? Has anyone heard anything?

I have used the Zoom desktop app on my 64-bit laptop for ages. Yesterday it would not work, complaining that I needed to download a current version.
When I download it, I get ZoomInstallerFull in my downloads. When I try to run it, I get a window to sign in to Zoom Cloud Meetings. When I put in my account and password, it complains, "Your app version needs to be 5.14.5 or higher to sign in. Please contact your IT team to update your app.
I'm not trying to sign in to Zoom Cloud Meetings, I'm trying to update my app. What do I need to do to update it?

I cannot seem to locate the share screen and side-by-side mode boxes in settings to use during my meetings when showing a power point presentation. When I do show it I always end up with at least 3 gray boxes covering the screen and it shows up on the viewer side and in my recordings. Any solutions for my issues?
