I have a newly built PC and Zoom has microphone issues with it. Randomly during a call I will get a message from Zoom that my microphone is no longer working. This can happen between 5 and 20 minutes into a call, and can happen several times during a call. However, the microphone is working fine. I have other apps which us the microphone for hours without issue (e.g., TeamSpeak, Discord, Steam, etc.). Even in Zoom, when this problem occurs, I can switch the audio to the microphone in question and Zoom sees the microphone as working again. I end up switching the microphone from "Same as System" to "Logitech StreamCam" (which is what the system is using), back and forth, which re-enables the microphone in Zoom. It is not the microphone that is not working - Zoom for some reason seems to think it is not working. The microphone is part of my Logitech StreamCam - my video never goes out, the camera and microphone are still in Device Manager, the system still sees everything fine, it is just Zoom that has the issue. I am not using Logitech G Hub to manage the StreamCam - rather, I use Windows itself. Windows has minimal settings (format of 2 channels, 16bit, 48000Hz). I have tried configuring the microphone Advanced properties to no longer allow applications to take exclusive control of the device, but this setting does not seem to matter. My system is running Windows 11 23H2 patched to current levels and Zoom (currently 5.16.6 24712) is also running the current version. My system has an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D CPU with 64GB of RAM. I have researched this issue online and found no fix - several others who experienced the issue also have AMD-based processors. Again, the microphone works perfectly fine on the system. Every other application is able to use the microphone for hours. The mic is built-in to my StreamCam, and I do not lose video when this occurs, only the mic. Additionally, this same exact webcam worked perfectly on my old Windows 10 system. The issue seems to be with Zoom and the new system.

I have been using zoom for at least three years. For the past two weeks, I have not been able to get on video. I get a black screen with a white image of a camera with a line through it. I've submitted a ticket, recieved no response, Also tried the chat box. I really don't use the camera for any other apps. I only have one camera choice..I'm on a HP laptop. Thank you

I was running a teaching session for a dozen or so students. I had five polls set up in advance. I ran the first one, and all went well. Poll closed, looked at results, and I downloaded the results later, after it was all over. However, when I tried to run the second poll (and the third, and the fourth) the "launch" button was greyed out and couldn't be pressed. Today, I've restarted the meeting, and those polls were accessible, but of course it's a bit late now.
Any ideas what I could have done wrong? I'm assuming this is a "user pressed wrong button" moment rather than a bug.

Corporately, we structure our meetings and other events so that all of the mortgage brokers have access to a common corporate Gmail calendar. I operate as a Microsoft office so I import that Gmail events calendar into my outlook office 365 calendars . Most of the events scheduled have meeting links from Zoom. the meeting links seem to be corrupted on the import. I have copied the data and changed the email address and the Zoom number inside the link to launch the zoom meeting as per the requirement above ... Is there something we can do on the import to outlook that will stop this modification of the links or is there something that corporate head office can do in setting up the links in Gmail so that they will not be corrupted. --------------------------------------------------------

My daughter cannot join my Zoom meeting from Thailand, keeps saying "Unable to Join the Meeting; This meeting is not accessible from Thailand at this time. (Error Code: 1142) Meeting ID #######"
The problem has been reported.
I was a participant in a Zoom meeting today, and I noticed that in the chat I could see when other people joined or left the meeting. I'm wondering if that's something I can turn on in the meetings I host? Where would I look for that setting, please? Or is it specific to a certain level of subscription? Thanks. 🙂 Wendy
