When I am sharing my screen (I have one open to view as a presenter, and I showing the PPT on a second screen for learners to view) When someone not in the room is talking there is a popup window showing the picture and name of the person talking. This popup window is blocking information being shared on the screen. I want this popup to go away so that the full presentation information can be viewed.

I have gesture recognition turned off in my settings, but within the last week or so, Zoom is always putting a thumbs up or fireworks on my screen when I am talking. Not only is it super distraction, but then my video freezes. During a call yesterday, I had to stop my video and restart it at least 10 times. What else can I check?

Thank you so much!

Linux Zoom client up to 5.15.12 worked fine on Linux Mint XFCE using the screen scaling XFCE provides for 4K monitors.  Version 5.16.0 now shows up VERY big and the usual fixes of adjusting zoomus.conf values of AutoScale and ScaleFactor will not make it any smaller.  ScaleFactor will make it bigger still.  If ScaleFactor would accept a fractional value (like 0.5) the issue would be addressed.  It only appears to accept integers.

Something changed between 5.15.12 and 5.16.0 that has broken the image size.  I've been waiting for a subsequent update to address this, but nothing so far.

I was playing around with the settings, and clicked the automatic record button by mistake, but quickly unclicked it but now I'm tuck.  Please can anybody help?

In a Zoom meeting, are participants counted by the number of DEVICES signed in, or by the number of ACTUAL PEOPLE who are actually on camera, and listening, and watching through those devices?

We want to join two church congregations for a Zoom meeting, probably using only a handful of DEVICES ... but with over a hundred actual PEOPLE on camera, and listening, and viewing through those devices.

So does the 100 participant limit mean I am limited to 100 DEVICES, or that I'm limited to 100 actual PEOPLE who are participating through those devices?

Thanks!

I am trying to edit the "countries approved" setting in my personal meeting ID settings and the "edit" tab is grayed out.

I get a message stating that my account is blocked and I must contact the admin.

I am the only one using this account.  I am the admin?   Please help.

  1. Under Schedule Meeting, click the Enable Personal Meeting ID toggle to enable or disable it.
Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at either the group or account level. You need to contact your Zoom admin.
