I conduct one-to-one meetings on Zoom with various clients. On occasions (not all the time), I cannot see the picture of one client when he joins my meeting. He says he can see the message 'host disabled video sharing'. On the occasions this happens, I send him a new meeting request and link and there is no problem. Sometimes we have to do this, and sometimes the issue doesn't arise and I can see his picture from the start. But I'd like to find out what the issue is as it wastes time at the start of the meeting if I have to email him another Zoom meeting request. I don't know what device he uses. Can anyone help me figure out what the problem is? I conduct 6-8 meetings per week on Zoom and only have the problem with one client, and not all the time. Thanks in advance.

My zoom is not sending 720p video even after having HD video settings enabled

I have a Zoom Workplace Pro subscription. Even after having HD video settings enabled, Video sent is stuck at 640x 360. I am not sure whats wrong. I want to send the video in HD quality. Need help !!

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out regarding a limitation I'm experiencing with Zoom. While I understand Zoom allows joining meetings on multiple devices, I'm unable to start separate meetings simultaneously on two different devices (e.g., desktop and phone).

Scenario:

  • I want to host a meeting on my desktop while also joining another meeting as a participant on my phone.
  • Currently, when I attempt to start a meeting on one device while signed in on another, I get logged out of the existing session.

Impact:

This limitation restricts my ability to manage situations where I need to host a meeting while also attending another one as a participant.

Profilename shows on Webportal, not in Zoom Calls

Using Zoom with MacOS Stage Manager messes up screensharing

I just tried to screen share an open KeyNote presentation to a client and it was a disaster:

 

1 - Zoom couldn't see the KeyNote in the list of open apps

2 - I closed the screenshare menu, then reopened and it now could see KeyNote

3 - I selected the Keynote, but it shared it as a rhomboid shape, as the thumnail is displayed like that in the sidebar of Stage Manager.

4 - There was no way to click into the Keynote

5 - I successfully resolved this by turning off Stage Manager (in OSX System Settings, Desktop & Dock) and the share worked perfectly.

 

SUMMARY: The issue is solved by turning off Stage Manager, but this affects the whole computer, and I feel like I shouldn't have to do that.

Our account has been having issues with slides advancing (on their own) and loss of mouse control during the share screen function. I was concerned it was a Zoom bomber issue, but it happened again today with a different host sharing their screen. It's never been an issue previously.

 

We have disabled the ability to collaborate with other apps as a possible solution.  Has anyone else encountered this?

disable auto-lighting and background blurring

Zoom now automatically brightens (almost like shining a spotlight) the speaker when more than one person is in the field of view.  How do I turn this off.  I would like to control when my background and lighting change.
