Hello, I usually schedule meetings for my boss. Until a month ago I always designated the same person as the alternative host so she could start the meeting. Lately and without changing settings, she appears as an alternative host on the Zoom scheduled meeting page, but she can´t start the meeting. I need to connect and allow her into the room and she appears as a guest in the waiting room. Can you please help me? Thanks

Does anyone know how/if it is possible for someone screen sharing on Zoom a PowerPoint (utilizing only one screen, not dual monitor) to be able to see the participants in side-by-side mode just like participants are able see it? Unfortunately, I always come across that for the presenter's view, participants on Zoom are just hovering over the screen, but it would be great to be able to have the same side-by-side capability that you have when you are watching someone share their screen. It's unfortunate for the screen-sharer to not be able to see the participants without hovering boxes that they have to move around which typically blocks content being shared. I have been working on work arounds for this for the past couple years on and off when I find it distracting or limiting my trainer, but as much as we trouble shoot with only one monitor vs. Dual, we have yet to find a good solution other than presentation mode of PPT which is still not the same as side-by-side.

I use zoom a lot and previously I didn't have many problems. With this new version plus update I have many problems. (On my Samsung s23 ultra) 

#1 can't see myself on meetings. 

I've checked settings, I've tried turning it on and off. 

#2 When I leave a meeting, it doesn't leave entirely. 

When I leave a meeting and want to go into another one, it doesn't really leave as it shows me "back to meeting" button rather than allowing me to start or join anothet meeting. 

#3 when I finish a meeting, it does not fully disconnect my audio/video. 

Often times I "leave a meeting" later on using my phone to watch videos, I notice my volume on media is lower than normal. I had a pop up message a couple of times saying that zoom is using my audio (something along the lines of that) when I'm not even on it. I'd have to reboot my phone for it to get to normal. 

#4 Joining breakout room took me to the circle of doom. 

One time I joined a breakout room it just took me to the never never land of "connecting" 

With all of these problems, I've uninstalled and reinstalled. I've did all my system updates for the phone. I've checked my settings over and over and I am unable to figure it out. Anyone else experiencing this? 

What colour space does Zoom Meetings use to transmit and to display? Is it Rec 709, sRGB or something else? Does anything change with screen share vs. non screen share, and with the Zoom app vs Zoom in a colour-aware browser? We’re teaching photography and colour editing, with presenters and participants all sharing screens for editing and all streaming directly from their cameras, with a mixture of MacOS and Windows. We’re trying to understand what colour and contrast shifts we should warn participants to expect.

My understanding/guess at the moment is that everyone’s feed is desaturated to fit within lowest-common-denominator Rec 709 (not sure what intent is used) and that’s what is beamed to everyone. It then seems to be presented in the Zoom app as-is, so everyone with a calibrated screen sees exactly the same desaturated colours. The plus of this approach is that everybody with a calibrated screen sees exactly the same colours, which is great for group work. The downside is that even those with good P3 screens can’t see what another user also with P3 screen is trying to show.

Does anyone have any corrections or extra insights or technical info?

Hi, I just recorded a meeting and went to download and had to download the individual speaker's audio file seperately which I guess is just the way it is. Problem is that in the cloud recording the file is called "Audio only - John Smith' but when the download came through the speakers name is gone and replaced with 'Recording_separate1', 'Recording_separate2' etc. I was wondering if there is a way to make the original file name stick to save going through and renamimg them. I'm using a Macbook Pro Sonoma 14.4.1

I have been using interpretation function for a small multilingual onsite event for around 20 participants. The participants logged into Zoom from their phone and could listen to the interpretation. There was no video in Zoom.

Now I'll have the same need, but for a bigger event up to 100 participants and there will be an online broadcast at the same time as well (outside from Zoom). Will this solution work?

How much bandwidth should be available for this?

Does the Zoom PRO license have the interpretation function available by default or does the account owner with the PRO license still have to purchase a Zoom Webinar license to access the interpretation function?

For context I will add that I use the Zoom interpretation function on our Business License, so I don't know what the current status of the Zoom PRO license is.
