Zoom support is a fail. I have put in two tickets about this and support doesn't respond for a month. Then they finally do, but it doesn't email me a notification so that I know. What in the world?

I was invited to a recurring meeting by a 3rd party. It shows up in my iCloud calendar the 2nd Tues of every month. If I hit Decline to get rid of it, Outlook pops up an error message: Unknown Error.

I can't for the life of me get rid of this. The 3rd party says they have no mtg on their end. How can I rid my calendar of this?

Hi everyone,

 

I’ve been experiencing a frustrating issue while playing background music through Zoom meetings on my MacBook. When I share my computer audio and play music from Spotify, there's a noticeable delay between the audio from my MacBook's speakers and the speakers in our conference room. Is it because my macbook is within close vicinity to the conference room speaker?

 

I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered similar issues and if there's an understanding of why this happens? I've tried adjusting settings and testing different configurations, but haven't found a solution yet.

 

If anyone has insights into why this delay occurs or suggestions on how to minimize it, I would greatly appreciate your input. Thanks.

How to shorten a link

I am just curious, how can I shorten a link that takes up a wall during a zoom call? As if, I copy a link from, lets say Youtube, and it fills the screen...  Is there a way to shorten it, as if other websites, and discord can do? 🤔

how to designate an alternative host in an all ready scheduled meeting?

Does anyone know how to how to designate an alternative host in an all ready scheduled meeting, please?  I've searched and haven't found anything except for how to do it when you're scheduling the meeting.

I usually only have 2 people in any meeting I host, but there are sometimes more. I am currently on the basic plan and am looking to possibly upgrade so that I don't get limited on time for those larger meetings. My manager has a pro plan currently. ... Show more

I usually only have 2 people in any meeting I host, but there are sometimes more. I am currently on the basic plan and am looking to possibly upgrade so that I don't get limited on time for those larger meetings. My manager has a pro plan currently. I see that there can be 1-9 licenses per pro plan. Does that mean that up to 9 accounts can be linked to that plan? Is there a plan that allows multiple accounts to be on it without having to buy plans for each one?

MacBook Pro M1 Pro w 16GB Ram 1 TB SSD

Running Sonoma 14.1

 

When I have a meeting (usually just 1 or 2 people) and I share video on Quicktime Player, if the video is playing at 1 hr and 25 mins then Zoom locks up like clockwork every time.  I can't even quit Zoom.  The video being shared stops. The video for my meeting participants stops. The audio for participants is still active but I get a big rotating colored ball on my screen and can't do anything except restart my computer.  It's been happening for months but I can't utilize Zoom anymore if this is going to keep happening.

 

Also, I have a Pro account. I am allowed to submit support tickets.  There is no link that I can find to submit a ticket anywhere.  Why is an important link like this hidden?  Could someone direct me to where I can find the support ticket submission.

 

I have enough ram. I only am running Zoom and Quicktime Player. Every thing else is closed.  I have a 1GB fiber optic connection.  I see no issue other than a Zoom issue here.

I keep having to add my preferred settings every meeting I have set in Google Calendar.
Why doesn't Zoom just Fix the problem with an update?
This is a bug because I know many people who are paying like myself having the dame issue.
This is a huge issue which seems to force the Pro Tier for support.

My account has been 'upgraded' to a new format. My scheduled meetings are not accurate. One has been completely removed and the settings for that meeting were somehow moved over to the only scheduled meeting left.  I was startled when I had been waiting for a client to join our session. I  copied the link to the room and emailed her to join me. She popped in immediately when I expected her to be in the waiting room.   I am frustrated by this change. I spent way too long trying to get help and then told I had to come to the zoom community.

 

How do I get my previously scheduled meeting back? My clients have a link that is putting them in a the right room while I'm waiting in another.  I've had this same link for YEARS and now its just gone. 

 

Anyone else have this issue?

I have dual monitors enabled and I host a lot of meetings that I need to screen share. Since the recent update that added AI features, I cannot see the gallery view when I'm screen sharing.  The first screen that should have the gallery changes to just the screen share tool bar.  This started happening after the most recent major update in late March that changed the look and feel and integrated more AI.
