I have been a zoom member for a long time and been trying to find a way to activate the video audio transcribing feature on my profile, asked the support and not sure what it is not working I don't want to use another app.
I know this feature is available in the pro plan. 

I recorded- Cloud Recording 

and I approved the transcription in my profile.

Can any one help?

Not seeing my own non-video picture in 6.1.15

As of the 6.1.15 update I can't figure out how to get Zoom to show me my own non-video profile picture. For example, when I'm in a meeting with four participants and I have turned off my camera, Zoom only shows the other three participants' pictures ... Show more

As of the 6.1.15 update I can't figure out how to get Zoom to show me my own non-video profile picture. For example, when I'm in a meeting with four participants and I have turned off my camera, Zoom only shows the other three participants' pictures or video feeds in the gallery view. The other participants see my picture just fine, and I see theirs.

 

If I turn my camera on, Zoom starts showing me my video feed in an inset pane on the gallery view, but then when I turn it back off, it takes that away again.

 

How do I get Zoom to show me how I'm visible to other people when my camera is off in this new version? This used to work fine, but it seem like it broke in the new update

In the post-secondary education world, instructors need to provide spaces for students to collaborate with each other other than during class time. In order to provide private spaces to meet, instructors would like to open some 'virtual team spaces' for different groups of students in different classes. This involves using the 'no fixed time' and 'Join before host' settings. As it stands, instructors (hosts) can schedule as many meetings as they want but only 2 of those meetings can be open/used at the same time regardless if the host is present or not. 

This is not workable for how our instructors utilize the system. some instructors have 4 different courses and each one of them could have team projects that need to use these open spaces at any given time during the day/week/semester.

We are currently planning an online event and would appreciate your guidance on selecting the most appropriate Zoom format. Our specific requirements are as follows:

  1. Participants Need to Open Camera:

    • We expect participants to have their cameras turned on during the event for better engagement and interaction.
  2. Participant Anonymity:

    • It is crucial that participants remain anonymous to each other. They should not be aware of the existence of other attendees.
  3. Host Control:

    • As the host, we need the ability to manage participant functions, such as requesting them to open their cameras, muting their microphones, and controlling other features.

Considering these requirements, could you kindly advise whether a Zoom webinar or a Zoom meeting would be more suitable for our event? We want to ensure a seamless experience for both presenters and attendees.

Editing security settings on recurring meeting changes time on events to current time

I have had this issue for almost a year, never got a resolution, and now it is has snowballed.
I was trying to edit settings of a Zoom meeting so that its not 'Waiting room only' and 'Authorized users only.' When trying to save this setting, I am logged into GCalendar, and it auto-saves the recurrence to the current time (it was 11:52 am) today. Then I edited the Title, date/time in Zoom, but now the new one, recurring (maybe forvever) at 11:52, is still in GCal, but as a non-recurring meeting, so i literally cannot delete it. Its not in Zoom listing, and to delete in GCal I would need to delete 1 at a time, and I don't think theres an end date. My whole org has been asking/so confused why I changed a big meeting to this random time.
Help!

I would like to disable the warning notice that my hand will be lowered automatically after several seconds.

audio and Video

Video is lagging beyond audio. I have a NEXIGO camera with audio. Work great until after restoring my computer.

It also did it when I first install it a few years ago. But clear up about a week or two later. I hope it will do it again.

Audio, but no Video, on iPad in Active Speaker view

Over the last month or so, during twice weekly meetings, a participant informed me that when a speaker is spotlighted, or if her iPad is switched to Active Speaker view, there is audio, but no video is displayed.

When a screen is shared, for a picture or a video, then the shared video and audio runs fine, but once the screen is no longer shared, it goes back to a blank screen.

When Gallery view is active, she can see other participants with no problem. It's only with Active Speaker view.

Her iPad is the most recently released one. The iOS and Zoom apps are all running the most current updates.

I logged into the meeting with my iPad which is older, not up to date with iOS but IS up to date with Zoom and I have the exact same issues, so it isn't a user error.

I've looked through the settings in the zoom account and on my iPad but I don't see any settings that would seem to affect this.

Any suggestions?

Resolved! Can't re-install Zoom; have to force quit the installer

I un-installed it because the update wouldn't work; had to force quit that. In the last 6 months when using Zoom my MacBook Air has frozen up. Can still watch the Zoom but can't use any controls for Zoom or on my computer; have had to use the power b... Show more

I un-installed it because the update wouldn't work; had to force quit that.  In the last 6 months when using Zoom my MacBook Air has frozen up.  Can still watch the Zoom but can't use any controls for Zoom or on my computer; have had to use the power button to shut it down.  Today I had the idea of re-installing Zoom but now I can't get it back on the computer.  I tried to use a ticket for Zoom but even though I have an account number, etc., it says that I am not associated with an active account?  HELP

Resolved! Upgrade to Pro

I booked a Zoom Meetinhg.  I then upgraded to Pro.

Will the meeting be restricted to my earlier limit or will the Pro upgrade be in place?

Or must I delete the earlier limited meeting and re-book under the upgraded Pro status?
