I really need help with this as it's causing me a lot of trouble:

I'm always the host of a meeting (an online class, actually). Since last week, every time I share my screen, black boxes appear on the side of the participants: they are "the back" of my tool bar and my "participants +  host" squares where our live faces are shown. When I move the tool bar and/or the boxes where my students and I appear, the black boxes move too.

It's difficult to explain. It happened overnight, I didn't do anything at all. 

 

Can someone help me, please? I've tried to uninstall and install again, rebooting the laptop and the problem persists.

Our company uses Zoom to provide one-on-one tutoring to students.  We create the zoom account and when a verification code is required, it comes to our central email address.

Normally we see requests if a student is at a different location or using a different device to log on with, but for the past week, we have seen an influx of verification code requests with no change in location or device.

Has there been a change within Zoom that is requiring a new code for each log in on certain devices?

Unable to Retrieve Meeting Recording

My colleague organize the zoom meeting has left the organization. We used her zoom to call in and make recording. I was promoted as host during the session. After meeting ended, i wasn't able to retrieve the recording. Can anyone help?

I’m working on a prototype app where HeyGen will talk to people to collect some data.

Here’s the problem:
• I’m the host of a Zoom meeting, but I’m scheduling it for another user (a guest)
• I send the meeting link to HeyGen so the bot can join using this same account that booked the meeting
• When the HeyGen avatar enters the meeting, Zoom shows a pop-up that the host needs to approve
• But the host (me) is not in the meeting, so no one approves the pop-up
• Because of this, HeyGen can’t hear the guest

I’ve tried setting up the meeting in different ways, but I can’t find a solution.

Is there any Zoom setting that can fix this?

Sala de Espera no visible

Misma configuración, sala activada, pero en el equipo nuevo, no aparece la sala de espera.

Does it have something to do with my new Mac book Air laptop and some Safari setting , or is it on her end?

(Her laptop and operating system are not old.)

Resolved! Get Window Decorations Back on Linux Client

So, the new version (see above) finally brought the new look that was announced earlier with version 6.0.0 (4563). Yes, it looks more modern. 👍

 

But

It removes window decorations like the title bar and the borders. As someone who uses the title bar to see whether a window is "sticky" in a multi-desktop setup (sticky means, it moves around with me while I change desktop), this makes the Zoom app less efficient. In just one day, I had already so many occasions on which I left behind a Zoom window (keep in mind that the stickiness changes whenever someone stops sharing a screen) that I got very disappointed with the change.

 

I looked around in the settings to find something that would bring the window decorations back, but wasn't successful.

 

Does anyone have any pointers how to get window decorations back? Is it even possible? If not, is there any chance the Product Management at Zoom listens? (If I need to edit weird text files, that's fine. 25+ years Linux user here.)

Scheduled Meeting not displayed under MEETINGS Tab

hello...

My local area of NA has a zoom account, as it was important to continue meetings (albeit virtual) during covid.  I am the zoom coordinator (if you will) for said area; and one of the meetings I scheduled for one of our groups is not appearing under the  MEETINGS column...in both the desktop & web zoom client.

The common solution found on the internet doesn't work (as there are no calendars synced w/ this zoom client/account).  If someone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.  Without being able to see ALL scheduled meetings, I am flying blind in scheduling additional meetings; & in providing help to our area members when they have questions about meeting overlaps, etc.
