Hi - I recently bought a Dell Iaptop and, when I try to join a Zoom meeting using the desktop client in Windows, I get the following message:

 

Unable to connect:

Check to make sure you're connected to a stable network that cannot be blocked by a firewall or proxy.

Error code: 5003

 

I can see from searching elsewhere that this error code is common with a range of possible resolutions, but none seem to work for me (restarting the computer, I have all the latest driver updates, status of Zoom servers is fine,  reset Network Adapter settings, added Zoom as a trusted site).  I have tried the obvious ones and only installed Zoom a couple of days ago so it must be the latest version.

 

What is particularly odd is that I have an older HP laptop on which the Zoom Windows desktop client works fine.  This other laptop is on the same wi-fi network, both use Norton 360 and both are Windows 10 laptops.  I was just wondering if this information might help to narrow down what the problem might be and if anyone has any ideas?

Waiting room

Waiting room is enabled and still people coming in immediate. The waiting room doesn't work anymore, and was working till september 1st 2021.

 

Any solution available?

Resolved! I need urgent help to assign privileges, but by mistake I paid the license from another account

Hi! No body from Zoom has been able to help me. By mistake, I bought a worker license directly from her account, and not from my main zoom account, and because of this, I am unable to assign her organizational privileges to host meetings on my behalf, and can schedule meetings on my behalf. I urgently need help. The plan that I bought from him is annual, and I require someone to help me with this, either who to contact for a solution, or how to fix this without having to wait a year.

What I want to know is what will display in the main room if someone joins after all attendees have moved to a breakout room. Will they get something visual that tells them breakout rooms are in use and that they can join one?

Hi.

I use ZOOM to stream Funeral Services. I use a laptop as my main device and could switch to my phone anytime without disconnecting my laptop. On Sunday when I tried it, it asked me to switch over and disconnected my laptop. That was a feature I really enjoyed because when I needed to move outside, I could switch to my phone and while keeping laptop simultaneously  on. Why did that change? It was very useful for my application.

Participation List

Hi everyone!

 

Is there a way to retrieve the participation list for a Zoom meeting that has ended on a free account? We Zoomed our wedding on Friday but I have no idea who was on the Zoom and I would like that list.

When I start the live transcript function, even if I have it set to not allow participants to save a copy, I get a notice that "The account owner and everyone in the meeting can save this transcript and share with apps and others."  Does anyone know what apps this is referring to and why I would even get this notice if people can't save the text file?
