No sound when playing MP4 recordings

When playing back an MP4 recording, there is no sound, and a recording time of just over an hour appears to be over 9 hours long. There is sometimes a rumbling sound.xcode_error.log:task 0-5.0.24c292.0512: C:\Users\watari\Desktop\2024-09-19 15.11.35 ... Show more

Chat in Online Meetings is jumping around

When I am in a Zoom meeting using my browser on a Chromebook, the meeting chat jumps around so it makes it difficult to read the latest message. Even when I am reaching it, if someone posts another message, the window will jump. How to correct this?

Nothing I've found so far about this question works for me. I can't find a setting on the MacOS client which lets you adjust noise suppression. Selecting "Original Sound for Musicians" or "Live Performance Audio" does nothing. There is no setting to adjust noise suppression to "Low" which was suggested in some posts. Some said the problem is with Windows 11. I'm not using that!

The documentation says AI is used to suppress noise. I want this off permanently! Even for voice meetings. Why is this so much to ask for?

Zoom Workplace missing upcoming events

Honestly the new version is a step back for us.

Where is the list of upcoming meetings gone? It only shows the actual day now. I want to see all of them in one glance as it was before.

I created meetings with capped registration. When I created the groups, I added co-hosts who will be leading these groups. However, when it's time to start the meeting, they cannot get in. When they click on the meeting link, it tells them to register but when they attempt to register, they receive a message that says they cannot register because they are a co-host. Any solution to this? I can't start every meeting and invite them manually and it seems pointless if I set them up as co-hosts to begin with. Also, is there a way for them to see the registration list?

Yes, I have seen this posted several times in the forum but am at my wit's end trying to solve this.  I am a single user on a Pro account.  I upgraded 5 days ago, and today was kicked out at 40 minutes.  After searching the forum, I saw that the license has to be assigned, which I see is applied to my single user.  Does anyone have any other troubleshooting tips?  I see 90% of my clients over Zoom and this is killing me!

In April a new version broke Outlook integration, as detailed at https://community.zoom.com/t5/Zoom-Meetings/quot-Use-an-external-calendar-quot-checkbox-setting-no-longer/m-p/175167

But we could unselect "Try new version" and the functionality was restored (first image).

With the most recent version, the "Try new version" control is gone (second image) and we are forced onto the new version, breaking Outlook integration.

Is there a fix for this?

Share Screen with Sound, Do Not Want To Hear Audio On Sharing Device - Using Mac

I have a scenario where 2 laptops are in the same space, one is hosting and the other is presenting a video with audio. The hosting laptop is connected to the room system, so any audio coming from the host computer will be amplified to the room. This includes any audio that the presenting laptop screen shares.

So to avoid an echo, it would be ideal for the presenting laptop (MacBook) to screen share with sound, but not output audio to the laptop. I want the laptop to only output audio to Zoom. But the volume of the screen shared audio seems to be tied with the laptop output volume. If I mute volume output on the MacBook, the screen shared audio is muted. In the Zoom meeting if I "Leave Computer Audio" the audio is still heard both through the laptop speakers and the screen share.

What I really need in Zoom is a "Select a speaker: None" option. The fix right now is to plug in headphones.

Is there a way to screen share with audio but not output audio to the computer (specifically a Mac)? Thanks!
