We don't want a waiting room to be used for meetings, since we're using a passcode.   I've made sure the waiting room toggle is set to off under our admin portion and individual, yet  3 of our 4 users continue to have waiting rooms.  This is problematic for our clients. How do I disable the waiting room for all users under our account?

How do I change the default name that comes up on my video when I join a meeting? Of course, I can click on the three dots and Rename, but I don't want to do this every single time I join a meeting. I went to Settings/ Profile / Edit My Profile, which launched a web page, then selected Profile, but the name listed under "Display Name" on this page is not the name that comes up on my video when I join a meeting.

In trying to schedule group meetings recently I have noticed that the alternative hosts feature, which I rely on heavily, is suddenly missing from the desktop client. Is this a known issue? Will this be added back? It's annoying to have to go to the web interface in order to schedule my meetings.

I don't know what happened but as of yesterday, I have not been able to join any zoom meetings, including previous recurring ones. It either says the host hasn't joined or the host has another meeting - but the host is inside waiting for me. I'm not sure what is going on. It is happening on both my laptop (mac apple chip) and iphone. I tried the test zoom instructions and everything appears to be fine. I am using the latest Zoom and I am panicking because it's blocking everything. 

 

Can anyone please help? I'm desperate and I don't know how to talk to a human being and the AI chat bot hasn't been able to help.

revoking Fireflies.ai recording permission as host

We have a guest user who is using Fireflies.ai's transcription bot, and one of our hosts inadvertently clicked 'OK' to allow it to record our regular meetings. We would like to revoke that privilege, but I can't see the right settings in the Zoom web... Show more

We have a guest user who is using Fireflies.ai's transcription bot, and one of our hosts inadvertently clicked 'OK' to allow it to record our regular meetings. We would like to revoke that privilege, but I can't see the right settings in the Zoom web admin interface to reset it. Can someone point me to the right control for this? Many thanks!

can not Find my recording

I was recording on my computer locally. After sometime lost WIFI for a few minutes. After reconnecting I do not find any recording. Please advise how to find it. It recorded only half the event

Zoom 6.4.2 Update -- Issues with "Optimize for video sharing" and Pause screen share.

Zoom's 6.4.2 update took away functionality! These issues are happening on both Windows and Mac.

 

1. Before 6.4.2, when I used "Pause" button during screen share, the content shared would still be showing for participants but in a paused state. After the update, using "Pause" shows a black screen with a message "XXX has paused screen sharing". This is not productive, pause is what it is, pausing what is being shown. I am not seeing any setting to change this feature.  

2. "Optimize for video sharing" used to work fine and downsample the video. But after the update, turning on "Optimize for video sharing" does not even show the video, only audio is heard.

Cuando inicio una reunión con la aplicación de Zoom en mi laptop no reconoce el micrófono y la cámara solo se ve un fondo negro, pero al abrir la reunión por la web si funcionan ambos, he realizado todas las posibles soluciones las cuales inician desde verificar que cuento con la última versión de los controladores al igual que de la aplicación y nada, el inconveniente es solo con la aplicación de Zoom ya que en otros dispositivos funciona con normalidad, también conecte un microfono y cámara externa y persiste el problema, por favor alguien quien pueda ayudarme con ese inconveniente, de antemano muchas gracias.

Tengo un problema con respecto al microfono, en un principio zoom no me deja entrar a la configuración del micrófono, he tratado de conectar otros audifonos a la laptop y con ninguno funciona, la única forma de ingresar a una reunión es sin auriculares y sin camara conectada, ya intenté reiniciar, reinstalar, ya verifiqué los permisos en windows, intenté actualizar los drivers, pero ni aún así he logrado dar con la solución, necesito ingresar a mis reuniones, ayudenme con eso
