Resolved! Zoom record option

I have a user that has been placed in a "Recording" group like many of my other users but the record option doesn't appear for him. I've removed and added him back in and still nothing is showing up.

Hello,

is it possible to create different breakout rooms and chat to the members of e.g. room 2 about a subject and at the same time to chat to the members of another breakout  room (e.g room 5) something different - in the way that the people form room 5 can't read the messages to room 2 and vice versa? That would be like group chat from main to 2 and from main to 5. Numbers are examples, i managed up to 14 rooms in the past but without room-chat...

Thanks,

jensili

Apparently users can register when the meeting is in progress and join directly from the sign up page. Is there a way to make them have to wait for the email. I ask this because it appears that Zoom bombers can just join without using their own, or even a valid, email address (we had someone with a single letter name at yahoo.com, and another that used a couple variations of the same name and gmail.com).

Hi there, I have two kids in virtual elementary school (kindergarten and 2nd grade).  Both utilize their own zoom accounts which is used on two newer Windows 10 dell laptops and each of their school issued ipads.  The laptops are hardwired ethernet with verified speeds up to about 300 Mbps / 15 Mbps (down/up).  Zoom clients are all regularly updated, onedrive is our cloud service, and malwarebytes is our antivirus.  Router is a newish netgear nighthawk.

My problem is that starting about 3 weeks ago (early/mid February 2022), my 2nd grader has been getting dropped from her classroom meeting on the order of 4 times a day across 3 different devices.  I have witnessed it dropping her.   Teacher reports that my kid is the only one who regularly has this problem and only people with bad connections ever get dropped.  Are there any settings do you think I can try on my end?  We are really at a loss as the IT dept for the school district practically non-responsive.

The kindgartener has not been dropped once, even when using the same two laptops.

How do you un-remove someone from your Zoom Meeting?

I accidentally removed a participant in my zoom when trying to get them in a Breakout Room. How do I undo this?

Hello,

I would really appreciate your help to resolve this issue. My camera has been freezing constantly while I attend Zoom meeting when using my IMAC computer.  I had researched the issue on internet and ensured that I had enabled my camera and audio for Zoom and that I allowed Apps downloaded from App Store and other developers. This was happening when using the Zoom 5.9.1.(3506) version. I just decided to download the new version (oops, did not note the version number) today, and have not tried it to see if that will resolve the issue.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I had to use my phone for Zoom meetings and it does not work well for me.

Many thanks!
