Password needs to be reset each time

On my laptop I have had to reset the password every day for the past week. On my ipad it is fine. I cleared the cache,  ran the flushdns utility, and restarted. Zoom tech can’t figure it out. Anybody else?

Has anyone, or any company, come up with a way in which I can convincingly look my interlocutors in the eye when we are meeting on Zoom (or any other such platform come to that).

My camera sits on the top of a large (70cm) desktop screen. So in every meeting all most people see is the top of my head while I often see up their nose when they are using a notebook or similar, which has the camera at the bottom.

Surely it's not beyond the capability of current technology to produce either a screen that has a camera embedded in it at eye level, or some conference software that can do the same job with a plug-in camera?

I'm trying to record myself without scheduling an actual meeting. I'm told that I simply go to the home page after clicking the app, then click the 'new meeting' button. There is no such button there. Instead there's a button that says 'back to meeting' in addition to the other buttons (join, schedule, share screen).

Is the 'new meeting' button only available to paid users or is there some other reason I can't access it?

Hiya -

I have a bunch of devices at home, all connecting to Zoom without a problem. Smartphones, laptops, PCs and Macs, Androids and iPhones. No problem.

I have an old iMac which I set up for my kids last year (during the lockdowns) - everything worked fine.

Recently my kids had to be isolated again, and now, for some reason, Zoom is not working on their computer.

Not only the zoom app, but I also can't connect to zoom.us on any of the browsers installed on this computer.

I tried connecting from the kids' account and also from my own admin account, and still nothing.

All other devices are still able to connect to zoom without issues, and I also checked the computer for firewall/proxy settings which might be suspicious, but found nothing.

What am I missing here??

Thank you for your help!

Recording was not saved

Yesterday (20.11.2021, 13.00 - 14.00) I recorded the conference, but it didn't appear in my cloud recordings. It is highly problematic, since I promised to send the link to the students. Is it possible to recuperate it? How should I do it?

We are using an iPhone on a stand as both camera and microphone for Zoom access to church meetings, but the sound quality is poor. We have a proper sound system and would like to use a feed from it (line output) it to replace the iPhone's built-in microphone for the Zoom meeting, using a Bluetooth transmitter so there's no need for wires. Can the Zoom app use the Bluetooth input instead of its built-in microphone? If so how would I set it up? If not, any advice is welcome! We are trying to avoid long wires and additional microphones.

During Zoom meetings when I screen share something with audio (I use a Mac) there isn't any issues with the sound on the receiving end of meeting participants. However, when my friend (he uses a PC) shares his screen, the audio is noted to be drastically reduced on everyone's computers compared to when I'm screen sharing. Does anybody have any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this?

Zoom allows more than 1 person to Start a meeting. After 1 person starts a meeting, it should prevent anyone else from using the Start option and only allow them to Join.

When the second person starts the same meeting, Zoom signs out the first person but allows them to keep the Host role. That is not enough.

Also if the first person has a Poll to launch it immediately blocks it.

This needs to be fixed.

zoom doesn't connect anymore. Basically useless. Team viewer works fine. It stops connecting as it takes too long.

An unknown error accrued

Any help would be appreciated.
