My Statistics in Zoom say I am using version 5.6.1 from last March, but I went to the download center and installed version 5.9.1 today.  After starting a new meeting, I expected to see 5.9.1 but still see 5.6.1.

Windows 10, Firefox latest version.

What am I doing wrong, please?

I feel that if Zoom were smart about this they would add an option to recognize the host and re-assign the host priviledge back automatically after a disconnect. This is the only thing I find is actually BROKEN about zoom. Having to come back in and hope that the student behaves (ie doesnt sabotage the meeting settings while I'm gone), or even is actually present or figures out how to use the options to pass the host back. This can be tough when teaching the entry level IT classes and the student barely knows how to even use the computer. Zoom has given me nightmares about getting behind in recording lessons because the student can't pass the host back after my internet disconnects for a few seconds.... Why would a random participant need to be host anyway? If the host disconnects without passing cohost or host, then it should wait for their return.

So I've been doing Zoom depos for two years...never ever dropped a Zoom meeting.  Got a new computer last summer and still had not problems and last two to three weeks Zoom has been freezing up at least once during each session and lately has been knocking me off...did it three times today.  Every time it freezes it says low or bad signal...everything else in the house works perfectly so don't think it's my internet, maybe a setting in my computer.  I have an hp Envy and have the most up-to-date windows.  Help!

I hosted a zoom meeting from my windows laptop this morning. One of my clients told me afterwards that she couldn't hear the sound after she minimized the zoom screen on her mobile phone. But this won't happen if she joins other people's zoom meetings.

I did the test myself by joining my hosted meeting from my iPhone. After I minimized the zoom screen on my iPhone, I couldn't hear the sound as well. When I joined the zoom meetings hosted by other people, I can still hear the sound after the zoom screen is minimized on my iPhone. So I think this must be related to meeting host settings. Any solutions?

we are looking for following features in Zoom meeting 

1. Only selected people from a meeting can vote for polls and submit votes.
2. Only selected people(both - within the organization and outside the organization ) will able to use Mic, Organizer should be able to enable mic in case he /she need to speak.
3. For all members: current speaker video must be ON always and switch to another one when speaker changes.

I am using Windows and schedule meetings via the Windows app. I've not had the need to edit these before but I note that I don't have an edit option on the app (see screenshot). Furthermore, the meeting isn't showing up in the browser, despite my Google account being synced to the Zoom account.

This is massively frustrating, anyone else have/had this problem and anyone been able to fix it (the resolution from my Google search [check Google account synced and configured in browser, update Windows app, sign out of app, restart PC, reload and resign into Zoom app] did nothing).

Hi I'm using a Zoom pro account. Today I have scheduled 2 meetings both from 3pm to 4pm. However, when the one starts, the other one cannot connect. But for my collegues' s zoom pro account. We can have 2 meetings at the same time and they are created by 1 account. How does this happen?
