Hi mates!
I have a little problem with my zoom recordings.
I recorded a meeting with one of my clients with the "speaker's view", but in the recording only appear the client´s video. My video like speaker when i am speaking is not appear.
I exploreded all kind of configurations and I did all kind of test with my friends and family, but the same happend again and again. In the recording only appear the video of the other person, never the mine.
It is very strange, because I have other recordings with the client video, and my own video which change everytime that we speak.
I asked a lot of people about of this, but no one can help me.
I need help with this please. Someone that could help me?

There are always periodic noises from my audio output (my mic) in every meetings I attend. The audio noise will always appear for every certain period (let's say 18 minutes).  The audio noise will stay for certain period too (e.g. 3 minutes). But these periods number will change for different occasion when I join another meeting on another day. It could be 20 minutes clear - 5 minutes noise or 17 minutes clear - 2 minutes noise. All these clear-noise-clear-noise audio sequence happen throughout the meeting.  The noises are heard by my all zoom audiences but it could not be heard from room speakers or Youtube streamed video (through OBS). Thus I think this problem is zoom related.

I don't know what causes this problem. Please help me.

Below are my computer configurations when I use zoom:

- Zoom video input is from OBS virtual cam

- Zoom audio input is from external sound card connected to my computer. The external sound card get its audio input from audio mixer.

- adobe audition is running to record audio.

Hi

I keep getting emails that I exceeded my storage and I delete most of the videos, May I ask if how many videos will be stored for 2GB and the recorded videos is almost an hour. So I'll have a glimpse of how many videos need to be stored to avoid getting emails and being charged.

Thanks

Greetings to all.

Even though Zoom is a paying enterprise that is now valued astronomically high, I just want to express my thanks to all those at Zoom who have made it possible for me to make it this far in the pandemic, perhaps soon to be endemic. As an instructor (of Buddhist philosophy, Tibetan, and Sanskrit) and department chair at a Big 10 institution, I don't know what I would have done without this service. Clearly, Zoom is not an act of sheer altruism -- some people are making a lot of money. But throughout it all, I've had this sense that the folks at Zoom have truly tried to serve all of us with sincere beneficence in the educational realm, and I appreciate that.

So, in short, thank you Zoom folks. Please take a moment to savor your unexpected but crucial role in helping us all get through this mess.

Yours,

John Dunne

Participant list snapshot

Is there a way to get a live list of participants so I can check names off as they take turns talk?

I need to check off users after they speak so I get to everyone.  Manual ways are too slow (i.e. pencil paper)

Two speaker panes?

In a Zoom meeting, how do I as host make participants see two panes: me and the person I am speaking with? I've seen this done, so I know it can be done.

I just ran into a pretty odd one. We work with a client that hosts quite a few Zoom Meetings. There could be hundreds of attendees. One particular attendee is unable to joining. When we went to admit them from the waiting room the joining dialog appeared and took awhile. The it disappears, they reappeared in the waiting room, a black box appears where their video would be, and then video appeared for roughly 5 seconds and kicked them off. I was able to host a Zoom Meeting with the problematic participant just fine without the issue. This was reproduced several times between the original host and participant's laptop. This participant can join from their iPhone, just not their laptop. Extremely frustrating issue to troubleshoot. Has anyone ran into something similar?

We are using Zoom as an online classroom. The instructor (host) doesn't like breakout rooms, and doesn't seem to know how to adjust his settings so that when he shares his screen it does not completely take over whatever we are doing on ours (participants). This is very disruptive as he bounces between shares rapidly, so if you minimize it just takes over again and again and makes it impossible to work on anything as he is doing this. Most of us are limited to a single screen and cannot easily add one. Is there any way to keep the Zoom window minimized, or at least not takeover the desktop unless the participant allows it, for screen sharing?
