Resolved! Live transcription

Hello! I have a question about the live transcription. Does anyone know if the live transcription will save all the conversations, including a private chat from a breakout room? Thank you!

How do you have just that slide show up on the screen rather than all the camera angles within the room?

In our corporate Zoom environment, recordings automatically get moved to the Trash after 30 days.  And after 30 days in the Trash they are permanently deleted.  However, you can always recover from the Trash before that 30 day period ends.

My question, however, is after the recording is recovered and then returned to the Trash (after the 1 day recovery period) does the 30 day counter for Trash restart?  Or is the 30 days based off the original deletion date?

For instance - I record on Day 1 and on Day 31 it is moved to the trash (meaning it should auto-delete on day 61).  If I recover the file on day 50, and it is returned to the Trash on day 51, does it still auto-delete on day 61 or does the 30 day timer restart making the auto-delete date now day 81?

Also, is there a way to add field in the Trash similar to the "Auto-delete in" counter that is found at the root Recordings view?  This would allow users to know how long they have before their recordings are lost forever.

The recording/ zoom meeting was just less than 24 hours ago. I saw it converting but left the computer open and when I checked today, it was not saved on my local file. Went to my recording tab and recorded meetings, it says "FILE DOES NOT EXIST" Options are: Open, Convert and Delete, when you choose open and convert, it says the same thing.  It also shows on Meeting Details that it was recorded. Help Please!

Hi,

I am a coach (yoga, meditaiton, workouts) and I use Zoom to coach my sessions.

I currently share my audio via the Advanced Sharing Options. I have an external mic connected to the laptop (wireless rode) but then use my blutooth headphones to hear my computer audio. I play  music through my laptop.

For me it comes thorugh VERY loudly in the headphones but for the others it can come through very quietly. Sometimes it is loud for my participants/recording and others it is very quiet. I think the only difference is when I share my audio BEFORE a participant joins. When I do this it seems to come through very quietly on the recording but is loud in my headphones. When I share my audio AFTER a participant has joined, then the recording audio and my headphone audio seems better matched.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so can they please share suggestions/thoughts on how to make sure my audio comes through for participants/on the recording more consistently but I also don't deafen myself.

Thanks,

Sinead
