Recording without audience
Is it possible to record a meeting WITHOUT the attendee's faces? I have scoured all of the forums and cannot find an answer to this. Thanks!

I normally save my meeting recordings to my laptop. For the first time I am getting an error message saying "The specified procedure could not be found." I see the video, recording, and audio icons, but they don't open. Any idea what happened or how to retrieve it?

I have a yoga business , that uses zoom all the time. For some reason a bunch of our classes are dropping at various times during the classes. I welcome any feedback that would help .
Presumable after last update, somehow the servers that zoom tries to use when logging in, have gotten erased. Zoom tried connecting to .us02web.zoom.us (notice first dot), which failed, in turn not allowing me to login into app. Check for updates also failed. I have solved the problem by inadvertently clicking on the zoom logo, switching momentraly to zoomgov.com, and then going back to an option labeled "zoom.us - default". Which in turn now after logout, properly changes into us02web.zoom.us, allowing me to login back again. This issue influenced both my free and pro accounts today 😕

Hello All I finally got add-ins working for the first user in outlook, unfortunately when trying to authenticate with zoom, I only get the form to fill out the credentials, but reCAPTCHA won't load (not visible), so the login button stays greyed out. Happy for any help on how to get the Captcha-Code visible. Using Outlook for Mac Version 16.61 with Microsoft 365 licenses Thanks Alex

We had a meeting where I signed in as the host to start the meeting. We had one designated co-host. All participants were muted upon the meeting starting and we removed the ability to allow participants to unmute themselves. If they were to comment the co-host would request them to unmute. One participant was requested to unmute to give a comment and when done was not able to mute themselves. As host, I was unable to mute that specific participant and neither was the co-host successful in muting that particular participant. The only thing that was different is that the participant signed in as the host right before the meeting began and signed me out although the meeting was still able to proceed with me as host and my co-host still there. Could that be the reason why that participant was unable to be muted by themself, host, or co-host? That participant at times uses that account to host the same meeting when it is their turn so it was not like they should not have access to the account. It was just not their time to be signed in if that makes sense. Thank you!

Zoom will not launch from slack properly. I brings up a window that doesn't not acknowledg me as a Host but rather a participant. I have linked that accounts over and over.
Apparently we have exceeded our cloud recording limit. So, the recording is not located among the recorded meetings and also the record of the meeting is not in the list of previous meetings. Is there a way to locate that recording or did it not ever get recorded?

Three failures concerning Zoom on Ubuntu, one being incorrect installation instructions, the second being a failure to connect, and a third being an erroneous upgrade prompt Incorrect installation instructions. The instructions for installing Zoom from the terminal are incorrect and fail. The correct instructions, having downloaded zoom_amd64.deb, are, from the DEB file's directory, `sudo dpkg -i zoom_amd64.deb` Then, because the DEB installer lacks necessary dependencies, `sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade` or, `sudo aptitude -r update && sudo aptitude -r full-upgrade` It would of course be easier were the DEB in the Universe repository so that all that is necessary is `sudo apt update && sudo apt install zoom` Launch failure. Having installed Zoom, it then fails to launch in Firefox when a meeting link is clicked. First, one receives a popup, >Allow this site to open the zoommtg link? which is fine but the popup continues with, >You'll need to choose an application. and offers no suggestions, which is odd because the application was just installed and should appear. Clicking on Choose Application takes one to ~, which is especially odd because by convention, no applications are installed there. If one knows to go searching in /usr/bin for an application, he finds a symlink to /opt/zoom/ZoomLauncher. Unfortunately, specifying any of: - /usr/bin/zoom - /opt/zoom/ZoomLauncher - /opt/zoom/zoom - /opt/zoom/zopen fails. I.e., having specfied one of the executables, nothing happens. This is true regardless of whether Zoom has been manually opened. Just, wow. False upgrade prompt. Having launched Zoom by clicking on its icon, it informs: >A new version is available! Update Clicking on the link takes one to the very same download page one was on minutes before, with a link to the identical DEB file. Why this prompt exists is not obvious. And, two hours later, well after the meeting ended, here we are. Google Meet, here we come.
