I'm trying to gauge if getting systems with discrete GPU's is worth it as we start to do more with audio/video collaboration. I'm looking at the Dell Precision line which has a variety of discrete GPU's and in some initial testing I tend to notice a difference. I can't find anything from Zoom stating if this is a recommended configuration to help optimize performance. Anyone can share any data on this?? Thanks much!!

I have seen in a recent meeting I have gone to where ALL participants are muted and the participants use the RAISE HAND function to indicate they want to speak and the HOST has total control of giving a person permission to unmute so that no other people can accidently unmute or stay unmute and cause a disturbance to the meeting. Then when the person is done, the HOST can mute them again.

I am just wondering how to set that up?

I'm trying to enable Peer to Peer (P2P) connection with my personal account, but I don't see the "Peer to Peer connection while only 2 people in a meeting" option.

This website says the option is under Account Management -> Account Settings, but I don't even see Account Settings in the first place.

I also searched for the option under Settings -> Meeting (Advanced) but didn't find the option either.

Q1. Is the function available for a personal account owner?

Q2. If available, how can I enable the P2P connection?

Thank you so much for your support in advance!

Good evening

We have started having a new problem on Zoom breakout rooms with some using Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablets running Android 11.

When the breakout rooms are opened they get a message saying 'This will take a minute' and 4 squares spinning around.  It seems to crash Zoom for them.   Although we can see them in the room, they cannot see it and cannot select any options on the screen, having to turn off the tablet and restart.  It seems to be intermittent too, only happening some of the time.

Can anyone help with this?

Hi everyone,

sorry, if the question has been discussed before.

I send a link of a meeting using Outlook list. Majority recipients receive the invitation correctly, but few of them receive the invitation email without the zoom meeting link. What could be the reason for missing the link?

Many thanks for you reply.

My small nonprofit is hosting a career fair for our program graduates on Zoom. We're anticipating about 60 people, so it's not a big enough event to really justify buying Event add-ons. We are trying to keep it simple by using Meeting breakout rooms, but we'd like to have enough control where people who join the breakout rooms form a queue instead of all being let in at once. Ideally, the employer for each breakout room would be able to let in 1 person at a time for networking and 1:1 conversations without everyone being able to hear them. Is this possible? Or are there other Zoom add-ons that would help us create more privacy in breakout rooms?

Hi there, I recently hosted a meeting of 60 participants.  All participants were automatically muted on entry.  At the beginning I could see the names of all participants and their mute/unmute icons. When our teacher started his power point presentation I lost that panel to the shared screen we all saw.  Someone unmuted himself and there was a lot of background noise. The only way I could fix the situation was to unmute myself and interrupt the teacher, asking everyone to make sure they had their microphones muted. Even when the teacher finished his power point I did not get the participant panel back.

Would greatly appreciate tips about how to continue viewing the host's view and control panel during someone elses' shared screen power point. Thanks in advance!  Janet 🌻

Hello!

I love the feature of being able to export data on # of participants in our meetings — but it isn't super helpful unless it is the *unique* visitors. I find the numbers to vary between 50-200 "participants" and we really just need to know how many participants total are in our meetings.

I know I can go into each meeting individually to get the count of unique users and then export that in order to find the actual number, but is there a way to access the number and export all meetings at once? [notice, on the screenshot, it won't tell us automatically how many unique users there actually were — we have to export the file and *then* count.

Thanks!

When I set up a Zoom meeting with registration, I understand that the attendee clicks on the unique link to get into the meeting. Shouldn't that open the meeting for the attendee without being prompted to download the app, or have the app open automatically if the app is already downloaded? Please help me understand this.

The other area of confusion: From where should I START the meeting - from zoom.us and click on start for the meeting, or...open the app?

Thanks!
