Hi. I hope you can help me with these 2 problems I am facing.

1- I have got the new Dynabook laptop with Windows11. When I was using ZOOM last night, I realized something wrong with the audio functions, so I tried to do the Speaker Test, but somehow no sounds even though I see the sound output scale moving. First, I checked with the Dynabook support, but they say that it is not a hardware problem as long as you can hear the other sources, so I am asking here.
Please help me on this matter.
My old Dynabook can do the speaker test properly.

2-The other side attendee can hear the back music I play from my old Dynabook pc, but not from the new Dynabook.
I tried to fix it but I could not figure it out. There is an optional function that you can choose on or off for the original sound, but it did not solve this. The back noise controller, neither.

Thank you very much in advance.

I have a separate conversation going with a very helpful member but i wanted to start a new one for just this topic.

Had a meeting. Me (Shure MV7 over usb into mac, Host), participant 1 (important one whose audio i actually needed, Shure MV7, usb-c into mac), participants 3,4 (just listeners whose audio i didn't need, computer audio).

Did some takes of a voice over, all fine. Sounds great on the recording. I'm recording locally, Original Sound is on in both computers, me and Part 1. When i go to download and listen to the individual tracks, recorded locally, mine is totally fine. His, super glitchy, sounds like a sample rate issue or something. It's definitely not playback, as you can see in the image of the wave, the jitter is baked into the file.

I ran a second test with just me and him, short little recording, changed NO settings, both recordings were fine...really at a loss. Any ideas?

  1. My question is about whether a host / admin or a user with group permissions can un-mute a participant without his/her consent in an open source or enterprise editon?
  2. Will a participant be always asked about such a consent always, or can some enterprise turn off such consent?
  3. Once given a consent, the setting can be revoked in Audio. If such a setting is not available does it mean that the consent has never been given, or that the consent being given, is not shown due to an enterprise setting.
  4. Bottom line can an enterprise take privacy on their control or does a participant under all circumstance has his/her privacy under control?

Thanks for the help.

Hello,

I would appreciate to have help on my issue. I was wondering if there is a way to automatically add participants who are late to a meeting in an actual Breakout Room ?

People who are late have to wait that we include them...It is time consuming for the host to add 20 people in a Breakout Room who is already ongoing.

Thank you for your help!

I ran a meeting the other day with a single guest. The guest told me that after she clicked the meeting link and went into the meeting, a message came up saying words to the effect that certain features of this software will be disabled. I don't know the exact wording I'm afraid as the guest was in a big hurry and had to conclude our short meeting very quickly.

However, it seemed everything worked normally. For example, the guest was able to share their screen and I was able to have remote control etc.

Has anyone seen this before? Why/how did this message come up and what is the impact on Zoom's functionality? Is Zoom somehow restricted for attendees in company accounts?

Hello, before posting this question I did look around for similar questions that may have been resolved but I wasn't able to find one specific to this. This question came up in response to this article/bulletin: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360059429231-9-month-release-window-

Is there a way to generate an admin report that would tell us what client version the users on call are using?

I'd appreciate any help. Thank you!

I have a user who needs to activate her new licensed account, but she is unable to do so. Here is what her supervisor says:

She said that every time she attempts it, it inserts her personal email address after she starts going through the process (begins with Moody email, but then switches it on the second step). She then has to exit out since she is unable to change it back.

I don't know if this means she has another Zoom account that is not part of our Education account or what would happen if she went ahead and completed the activation without changing her email back (would I be able to fix that later as the administrator). What does she have to complete as part of her activation? I'm new as the admin and haven't set up any of the processes we user for bringing in new users.

Importing attendees to a meeting

I would like to use the Meetings platform for a Zoom event, but also want the ability to import attendees/registrants/ via a CSV or excel file - does anyone know if this can be done?  Thanks
