Hi everyone

There were some recent discussions about links to previous, older versions of Zoom Workplace client.
If you know how those links are built, you can "make" them yourself (based on release notes page). But some people need a quick and easy solution. So I thought that I'll make a list for you with some recent versions.
Those are direct links to Zoom download site, so there is no need to worry about downloading it from a "middle-man" website and potentially getting a virus as a "bonus"..

Please also remember, that Zoom also has "Software Quarterly Lifecycle Policy", which enforces you to use client version newer than XXX provided in article linked below:
Zoom Software Quarterly Lifecycle Policy

So, here are links to some older versions. I've decided to provide links to 3 latest releases for version 6.5 and only the latest ones for lower releases 6.4-5.17.
Those links are only for Windows and MacOS. I've decided to skip Linux distros since it's a pain doing the same for some many distros... 😅

Version 6.5.1

Version 6.5.0

Version 6.4.12

Version 6.3.11

Version 6.2.11

Version 6.1.11

Version 6.0.11

Version 5.17.5

I'm experiencing a significant audio processing issue with our Zoom Rooms when using the Google Meet integration that appears to be related to how audio settings are handled between the two platforms.

Issue Summary: Our Zoom Room properly respects the configured audio settings (Echo Cancellation and Noise Suppression disabled) when hosting native Zoom meetings, but completely ignores these same settings when joining Google Meet meetings through the Zoom Rooms interface.

Configuration Details:

  • Zoom Rooms with Echo Cancellation and Noise Suppression disabled (see attached screenshot)
  • Multiple microphone models tested (including Blue Yeti Nano)
  • Music Mode enabled to preserve audio fidelity
  • Windows audio enhancements disabled at the system level

Observed Behavior:

  • Native Zoom meetings: Audio settings are properly applied - music playback is clear and unprocessed as expected
  • Google Meet via Zoom Rooms: Audio appears heavily processed despite identical settings - music is suppressed/filtered, suggesting noise suppression is being applied regardless of configuration

Troubleshooting Completed:

  • Verified all Zoom Rooms audio settings multiple times
  • Tested with different microphone hardware
  • Confirmed Windows system audio settings are optimized
  • Attempted various combinations of Music Mode and audio processing settings
  • All configurations work correctly with native Zoom meetings

Analysis: This appears to be an integration-level issue where the Google Meet API or bridge is not properly inheriting or respecting the Zoom Rooms audio configuration. The fact that identical settings produce different results depending on the meeting platform suggests this is likely a software integration bug rather than a configuration issue.

Has anyone else encountered this behavior? Is there a known workaround, or is this something Zoom engineering is aware of and planning to address?

Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Also to note, we are on the latest version of all softwares.

Connectivity problems

The next time I'm hosting a Zoom meeting and I start having wifi issues, how can I leave and come back without ending the meeting for everyone? Making a co-host doesn't seem to work.

Hi there

I'm having an issue with seeing the meeting video from PC onto Samsung TV. Here is the setup I'm using.

  1. Connected to zoom meeting on PC using the Zoom desktop app
  2. Sign into  Easy Connection to Screen app on PC
  3. Go into the Workspace on my Samsung TV QN90B
  4. When in the Workspace app, select my PC and then TV connects to PC
  5. Green edges appear on the perimeter of both PC monitors but the TV screen turns black. In the past the green edges only appeared on one of the PC monitors. The cursor from the PC is visible on the black TV display but it is very faint. The cursor remains in view on the black display even when I move the cursor across both displays on the PC. The black TV screen seems to be viewing the 2 PC displays as 1 display as the cursor is always visible.
  6. If I set the PC displays to 'Duplicate these displays' or 'Show Only on 1' or 'Show Only on 2' then the black screen disappears and TV displays the zoom meeting. The TV only shows black when the PC displays are set to 'Extend these displays'. When the meeting does appear though, there are windows displayed on the TV screen that no longer open on the PC so they can't even be removed from the meeting view on the TV
  7. When I disconnect from Easy Connection to Screen or Workspace, the TV screen goes back to the Samsung start page and the PC locks so that the PIN is needed to sign in again.
  8. Zoom version 6.4.12 (64384)

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Todd

How come Zoom isn't picking up non-voice sounds?

Recently I'm finding that when I ring a chime on my phone and hold it up to my laptop mic, Zoom doesn't want to pick it up. My voice is fine, as are my speaker and mic settings. What is this???
