I suddenly am unable to click on a link provided by the meeting organizer and get into the meeting. I've tried going through my browser, i.e., accessing the Zoom website, then entering the meeting number and passcode but that isn't working either.

The suddenness of this problem has me puzzled, as I, like many of you, have spent much of the pandemic in Zoom meetings.

Any ideas what a moderately tech-challenged person can do?

I want to host a webinar and give each panelist remote control while they present. The problem is, once I give somebody remote control, when I click on "Remote controlled" button, it doesn't open the menu but moves to the next slide. Only the second time when I click on Remote controlled does the menu with Stop Remote Control show up.

I'm on Mac and Zoom version is 5.10.4 (6592).

When I record a meeting, the meeting video and audio save as separate files (an mp4 and an m4a). The video has no sound on it. Why doesn't it just save as a video with audio?

There is no issue with the audio from my side, because when I record my meeting but opt to save it to the cloud, the audio is there and fine. And if I download it from the cloud, the audio is on the video too.

I'd rather not save to the cloud, because the video quality and clarity is much better when I save to computer.

I just want my recording saved to my computer with the audio already on it. Is this not possible? Because it's a deal breaker for me paying for Zoom.

Thanks

Hey Zoom community 😃

Short question: I saw this feature by another meeting-solution. I have a meeting in english next week, I will join as member  to a host and want translated subtitles from english to german on my screen. (Host and members english, Iám german)

Checked the board but can´t find something about this.

Is it possible? If yes, how?

Thanks

Hi,

I have a number of Alternate Hosts who are registered as users on my account and who run their own meetings, allowing us to run different training courses for different groups concurrently.

Does the Alternate Host inherit the Waiting Room message from the master account, or are they able to customise the  message using their own Zoom account, so that the Waiting Room message can be customised to the group and topic being covered?

Thanks.

Nick

I've been using Zoom meetings for almost 3 years without problems.  Recently I have begun hosting regular meetings with a new group of clients. In each of our 3 meetings I have lost my connection to the internet (though the router light suggests that the internet is still on). This may be a coincidence (I'm considering a dedicated access point),  but it has only ever happened with this group. Is there a possible explanation?

Mobile Browser Support WebSDK

I want to know that do we support mobile browsers/devices on webSDK version - 2.3.0 ?

I am using asp.net webform and c# as server side code.

I am using an iframe to open zoom inside my web application.

Suddenly, people can no longer unmute themselves in a meeting.  (It's SO aggravating and unprofessional when Zoom autocratically changes settings without even warning, so we get in a meeting and it's not working as expected! 🤨)

I found this answer but the setting option doesn't exist...

"This setting (Automatically mute all participants when they join the meeting) will disable all participants’ audio when they first join the meeting, i.e. they will be able to unmute themselves after joining.

"Afterwards, the host or co-host can mute all participants that are already in the meeting, as well as new participants joining the meeting.

  1. Click Participants
     located in the meeting controls.

  2. Click Mute All to mute all current and new participants.

  3. (Optional) Check Allow participants to unmute themselves if you would like participants to be able to unmute at any time during the meeting."

I can't find  Participants tab in the first place, but i do see this...

"Mute all participants when they join a meeting

Automatically mute all participants when they join the meeting. The host controls whether participants can unmute themselves."

But there's no setting anywhere i can find that says...

"Allow participants to unmute themselves"

Help!

Scheduling priviledges and different time zones

Hi all,

I wonder if you could help me.

If I have to set up a Zoom meeting using the scheduling privileges for another person who is in another time zone. Do I use their time zone when scheduling or should I use my time zone?

Thanks

CloLau
