Hi guys, I am a Newbie with Zoom. I had a very important onboarding call yesterday. I am a basic user. I recorded for the 1st time ever the zoom cal, it offered the options of cloud or locally, I chose cloud (not knowing until trying to retrieve it that this option was only for paid customers) It let me do it though, it said recording in process. I wished it said - not allowed to choose cloud as you are a basic user... Is there anyway I can retrieve this zoom call at all!! IT was super important!

I attended a zoom meeting in the browser as the app wasn't working and I was too late for my meeting to fix it. I recorded the meeting, and it said it would be recorded to my cloud. However, after the meeting finished, I noticed that I wasn't signed in, so therefore I lost my recording. Is there any way to get it back? I don't understand why it would say the cloud record if I wasn't logged in.

I have meetings for a small group of people (40 to 50) several days a week with the same ID/passcode. I don't want to change the ID/Passcode if possible and would like to add a rather generic user to the account that could open and host the meeting. Then I can share that username/passcode with a few leaders. Is this something I can do without losing the ID/Passcode meeting and without giving the generic username/passcode access to admin/billing etc.? How should I do this? Zoom doesn't seem to be set up for this type of use.

Does Zoom intend to fix the usability problems with their live transcript functionality? As a hearing impaired person, it is up to me to inform everybody who is a meeting host that I am hearing impaired and would like them to turn on live transcript! For every meeting! And after turning them on, the host has to turn them off for himself. Then if the host decides to join from a conference room, there is actually nobody I can ask to enable the live transcript. In addition, when live transcript is turned on, everybody in the meeting sees a banner that says it's been turned on. I assume this is to notify that possible one other person in the meeting who might benefit from captions, but from my perspective it's just another layer of notifying the whole meeting that I have a disability. I'm glad that Zoom figured out how to at least have some level of support for closed captioning. Now I'm hoping you'll take it further.

Whenever I create a recurring meeting, whether weekly or monthly, the link will work fine for 2-3 meetings and then the meeting ID suddenly expires (resulting in getting the "invalid meeting id" error message). Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening?

Hi, Whenever I try to open zoom up in a window or try to download it, a popup appears saying that I should switch out of S mode or get similar apps in store.... I'm not sure how to do this, or what it means. I have a HP windows laptop and am unsure how to resolve this. Could anyone please help? Many thanks, Alexandra

Hello,
My organization is on 5.11 and we have currently received the attached message when integrating Office 365 calendar with Zoom. Any ideas?
Thank You,
Ideally there's plenty of cpu power, battery power, bandwidth, etc. In real life, there are times when you are low on all or one. Last night I had a slow wifi connection on my zoom meeting as I was using my cell phone's hotspot with metered bandwidth. I was getting "Your internet connection is unstable" Like most of these kinds of messages, I would argue that this message was also a lie. IMO, it wasn't unstable at all. It was consistently slow. (I mean, I was the only user of my hotspot, and the speed was way under wifi capacities, so that part had should have been constant. The other side (4G LTE phone---zoom) should also have been constant due to the huge number of cell phones per cell tower, thus smoothing variabilities from one user's change in usage.) The accepted solution to this problem I saw in this case is to call in, but the thing is I need to see slides, give my own slides, and participate in chat. I don't need to see anyone's face. I disabled my own video, which was easy to do, but I was unable to disable the server sending video of the person speaking. Is there a setting, trick, or hack to avoid the server sending face video data? I tried putting zoom in windowed mode and having it in a background window (hidden from the screen view). FAIL --- the software wasn't smart enough to avoid sending video data on my slow connection. Everyone complained when I tried to talk that I was breaking up even though my upload video was disabled. Thank you in advance for trying to help. --Jason Arthur Taylor
I reviewed the settings in zoom and in the software's realtime options, but didn't see anything.

I am trying to unlink my account from my partners. They are the account owner and I am admin. When I go into user management there is no way to unlink or even change my role from admin to member. Any ideas what I can do? Do they need to go in as owner? I figured as admin I would be able to do it myself. Thanks!
