Zoom crashing after recent update

I don't know what happened, but after the latest update, the desktop app crashes.  i can't even get into a meeting.  Nothing I do, running the ZoomInstaller, restart, tried installing 32 and 64 both, same issue.  Changed video settings to not even use hardware accleration, etc.  Firewalls off, STILL it crashes and or won't load.

Thumbnail hidden in full screen presentation

When sharing a PowerPoint presentation the thumbnail videos of participants (and myself) disappear. This only started yesterday. They start out showing up then when I stop sharing and reshare the presentation, they disappear. It says, “Thumbnails hid... Show more

When sharing a PowerPoint presentation the thumbnail videos of participants (and myself) disappear. This only started yesterday. They start out showing up then when I stop sharing and reshare the presentation, they disappear. It says, “Thumbnails hidden on full screen.” I don’t see any way to recover them so I can see my participants layered over my PowerPoint.

When sharing a presentation the thumbnail videos of participants (and myself) disappear. This only started yesterday. I have checked my settings. They are not set to "hide participants". Can anyone advise? The participants can still see each other and me. We can still all hear each other.

Shared screen appeared transparent

One participant joined the zoom meeting on his computer through emailed invite link. He shared screen on his desktop. The screen appeared transparent, showing his iphone phone keyboard underneath. It looked like his share screen was an overlay over the phone, but he joined zoom through his desktop. Can anyone explain how this would happen?

Shared window - active speaker NEXT to shared screen

I used to be able to record to the cloud with the active speaker NEXT to the shared screen.

 

In settings, I have unchecked the "record active speaker with Shared Screen.  The rest of the boxes are checked (e.g. record active speaker, gallery view, and shared screen separately).

 

Has there been a change in how recordings work?  I need for the speaker(s) to NOT overlap the shared screen.

 

Thanks for any suggestions.

Fuzzy Green screen with Blackmagic Ultrastudio 3G

Frustration reigns! Streaming video from DSLT via Blackmagic Ultrastudio 3G recorder...into Zoom...and all I get is a fuzzy green mess on screen. Do NOT tell me to downgrade Zoom version. PLEASE resolve urgently...its been 2 months now!

Zoom VDI does not allow to choose remote audio devices, while Microsoft Teams does

Anybody knows if Zoom supposed to be able to display a choice of remote audio devices like MS Teams does (see screenshot below showing that MS Teams allows me to choose which remote audio device can be used for audio output on my desktop. Zoom VDI does not have any of those options at all.

Cannot access zoom via work profile and Edge

Hi,

 

I have a work profile set up and when I click on links to a zoom meeting from my Android Outlook, it takes me to my the work profile instance of Microsoft Edge.

 

From there, I'm stuck at the Launch Meeting page and when I click that, nothing ever happens.

 

When I try to download from Google Play or Zoom, it indicates that I cannot download or install or that my phone is incompatible.

 

However, my personal Zoom is fine and I use that with no issues.

 

I haven't heard of others in my organization having this Zoom access issue so trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong or if I am inherently limited.
