I'm using Mac book and OS is Monterey. I changed its pointer size and color because default pointer is really small and hard to see when I sharing my screen. However, some people see it in default size and color. For example, two people out of five see the pointer in default size and color.

Please advise me how to fix this problem.

We are having a problem with meeting registrations.   We put in the link, which works fine for a computer.   But when we try on a smart phone, the link (exactly the same as the computer link) goes directly to a link to join the meeting rather than the registration page.    This is new.   We have not had this problem before.   

 

Is there something new in Zoom that is causing this.  Has anyone else had the same problem?  It only seems to be happening in meetings -- the webinar registrations are fine.

Today, several PDF files were shared in chat during a meeting. I was able to download all but one. Everyone else was able to download all. No error message. It said "click to download" but nothing would happen. I could click and download all other files. The size of the file was smaller than some, larger than others, so I don't think it was a size thing. They tried reposting it several times and it happened each time for one specific file. Any thoughts?

Can anybody tell me if I can get a 4k(UHD) resolution on video on zoom meetings with an additional 4k camera?
I did find HD resolution but couldn't find anything above that resolution.

 

Does zoom support 4k(UHD) video meetings?  
if yes,

1. how should my settings be?

2. Should I upgrade my plans?
3. Is there any limitations?

if no,

1. Is it due to a lack of technical skills or due to low demand?
2. what is the reason for not being able to use 4k video??

Breakout Room Button Missing

We ran a session today with 30 breakout rooms ('bor').  We had rehearsed wi the the breakout room "managers" beforehand to make sure everyone knew what to do.  But on the day we had various issues:

 

  1. Users who were preassigned to a breakout room, were not placed into that bor when the rooms were opened
  2. When they tried to join their room manually, the bor button was missing
  3. When members of the public were admitted, some of them could not see the bor button
  4. Users were not able to roam between rooms.  They had to exit back to the main room and be reassigned manually.

Now, I appreciate that people on old OS's or out of date Zoom clients may have had problems. but when we rehearsed on Friday afternoon it worked.  But today, some of those people for whom it worked yesterday, found that it did not work

 

We had to resort to admitting people manually which was a PITA, especially as, just as we has completed that task, Zoom spontaneously dropped the entire meeting and we had to start over.

 

I'd appreciate any insights on what we could have done to avoid this please?

Hopefully I'm posting this in the right place.

I've been continuously dealing with this issue for a while now and am out of ideas how to fix this, perhaps some of you could help.

Each time I try logging in it gives me this (tried different web browsers to no avail):

Oops! We were unable to complete your request. Please try again. (300)

I don't think it's endpoint related, there's no issue with the network connectivity either. Everything else, any other app on my laptop works just fine.

This used to work BTW, not anymore and I wish I knew what the root cause is. Tried reinstalling the zoom app, but that didn't seem to help either, the issue remains. Any idea how to wipe all zoom user settings from my machine, so I could start completely fresh, pristine installation? I suspect some settings are cached even when you remove zoom.

I'm on a Mac if that makes a difference.

Any suggestions welcome at this point, thank you!
