I have screen sharing enabled on our backend - screen sharing on, one participant at a time, all participants can share. However, inside of a meeting, participants receive a message saying the host has disabled screensharing, and logging in as host shows it defaults to "Host only".

How do I fix this so meetings allow screensharing for all by default?

A link with an encrypted passcode works fine. But some of my guests want to join a meeting with meeting ID and passcode.

I then send them both pieces of information in plain text.

Another example - Meetup.com events allow me to hide a zoom link so only guests can see the link. But I'm not able to add a plain text passcode to the hidden information, so I devise devious schemes to provide that information.

A plain text passcode in a zoom meeting link solves my problem.

Whenever I send a link to someone, I always need to send the plaintext passcode.

My quartet was singing together in one room for a coach in another state via a Zoom meeting.   Talking was fine but once we started singing, the coach said our sound cut out or only one voice came though.  Both computers were running the latest zoom version and both were set with original sound for musicians, with high fidelity music mode checked and echo cancellation unchecked.   We tried with a Yeti microphone and just with the computer microphone, but neither worked.   Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

When I share computer audio, either by checking the box "share sound" on the basic share screen or by selecting the Computer Audio module on the advanced share screen, there's a little pull down menu carat which allows me to select mono or stereo.

(By the way, I only learned about this menu recently when I was informed that I was unknowingly sharing mono sound even though I had selected stereo in the Zoom Audio settings, not to mention that I practically need a magnifying glass to see the carat.)

By default, this selection is set to mono. I can change it to stereo but the next meeting it reverts to mono. Why can't there be a preference to have it always set to stereo? How difficult can that be?

I tried to sign in via SSO and now the domain name I used (that doesn't exist) prefills the domain of every meeting I try to join, and I get an error message (100006000).

I was invited to speak at an event and the organiser said that I needed to create an account to access the meeting, and that she would add my domain to the whitelist. My company doesn't use Zoom but when I first tried to access the meeting, the link it didn't work - so I tried the SSO log-in instead, adding my company name (for example ABC company) as the domain. This also didn't work, but now every subsequent external meeting I try to join replaces the correct domain with my company's (e.g. the meeting is for xUniversity.zoom.us and it loads in my browser as ABCcompany.zoom.us, even though my company doesn't have a Zoom domain or SSO login). I've cleared my cache and cookies but I can't find a way to make Zoom forget this fake domain. Help?? (Please!)

Is there any way to get an itemized report of breakout rooms and each room's participants? I searched for this topic and found this thread, but it's from last year and I want to know if this has changed.

If not, has anyone found any workarounds to this? This is for a speed matching-type event, so keeping track of breakout room participants is key.

Thank you,

Robert

Zoom needs to make the user's profile pic easily accessible regardless of whether one logged into a meeting or entered as a guest. The pic should be a fixed default feature unless one decides to opt out. Forcing users to experiment with dubious "fixes" to find the pic is a pain in the neck, especially if you are already participating in a meeting.
