On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

BACKGROUND CONTEXT
I've got a very strange audio problem to which I cannot figure out the solution.  I've got a couple of different USB interfaces that work fine with all my broadcast software including OBS, ManyCam or directly out of Zoom, however

I've got a musical instrument and whenever I blow it, Zoom Blocks it whether I play through my mic on my interface directly or through OBS or ManyCam.  So I tried recording the same instrument into the same mic, same interface and recorded in Both OBS and ManyCam and the sound is fine.  Zoom Just wont accept the sounds.

So I bought a new interface, a Tascam Mixcast 4, which is essentially the same as Rodecaster.   It has sound pads built right it so that I can send sound effects right into the mix with my Microphone.  Here, again, zoom picks up my Mic just fine, but if I blow the instrument, nothing.  If I engage one of the sound pads, nothing - I get about the 1st second of sound and then its muted out.   If use the exact same settings and record in either OBS or ManyCam everything gets recorded whether instrument through mic, voice through mic or sound effect through sound pad.  Very strange.  So I use OBS or Manycam as a virtual mic, and back to square one... voice through mic comes through, but sounds on the sound pad do not....... can someone explain the cause of the problem and a solution.   I'd be grateful!

Feature suggestion for Zoom Product Managers to consider.

 

I had some disruptive users join a community meetup, which I was able to handle with the moderation tools, but some aspects were difficult. When someone is screen sharing, it's difficult to see more than a few users and hard to track who exactly is being disruptive. It would be nice if the Security button popped up a 'Moderation Grid' showing recent user activity: who has spoken, annotated, etc and how long ago. Even with a large number of users, sorting by most recently active would be quite helpful. This page could have a toggle for whether to show profile pics or not: to increase density or to find offensive pics.

I am trying to use the advanced polls feature for an upcoming meeting. I have the web settings set to allow advanced polling and I have version 5.9.x as my zoom version. I seem to meet all the requirements, but no matter what I do the only choice for polling I get for my meeting is the original polls.  I read and followed all the help docs and it seems like it should work, but it doesn't.

 

Any idea why this might not be working?

converting adobe connect file to zoom conferencing

Adobe Connect service will be discontinued on Sunday, November 17th. Zoom Conferencing has replaced Connect as the supported web conferencing and webinar tool.

When recording on zoom, there is a difference between my lips on the screen and the sound coming out of my computer. It's a new computer, a performant one with windows 11 (video HD 720..) Could you guide me to find from where could be the issue to  settle it ? Thanks !

p.s. on my computer, video and sound (and my lips) it's alright and when I transfer my video on YouTube also.
