One of my users is experiencing an issue where his screen share appears faded or washed out to the other people on the meeting.  The color will flicker to the proper levels occasionally, but most of the time it looks faded.  Everything appears normal to the user who is having this issue though.  This issue only occurs in Zoom and not Slack huddles or Google Hangouts.  The user is on a MacBook Air M1(2020) running macOS 12.6.2 and Zoom v 5.13.11 and isn't using an external monitor or anything. This has been happening across multiple Zoom versions though.  We have tried the following steps to resolve:

1. Shut down and restart the computer.

2. Uninstall and reinstall Zoom

3. Upgrade Zoom to the latest version

4. Disable Hardware Acceleration under Preferences > Screen Share > Advanced.

 

Reinstalling Zoom seems to help for a short time, but the issue starts again within a couple hours.

 

Does anyone else know what else we can try to resolve this issue?

Zoom will not record me as speaker - records someone else

This used to work - speaker is being recorded. 
Now it doesn't work. 
I don't see anything turned off or on.

Will Zoom app work on a Mac M2 Mini?

I see people reporting problems as recently as Feb 22, 2023. However, they talk about using external devices during their meetings; I don't. I use Zoom a lot and have a Pro Account, so I don't want to buy the Mac M2 Mini then find Zoom no longer work... Show more

I see people reporting problems as recently as Feb 22, 2023. However, they talk about using external devices during their meetings; I don't. I use Zoom a lot and have a Pro Account, so I don't want to buy the Mac M2 Mini then find Zoom no longer works. Have the problems been resolved by Zoom? Will the Zoom app work if just using Apple's internal cameras and mic? Thanks.

I recently started using "Link to Windows" to connect my Android phone to my PC.  My phone is connected to the PC via Bluetooth.  My meeting audio is from the computer either speakers or a wired headset.  Is it possible for meeting participants to hear the phone audio from someone not in the meeting?  

 

My business needs do not warrant ZOOM Phone and I don't often need to share phone audio in a ZOOM meeting, but sometimes it would be nice to call upon a subject matter expert for a quick question.

Set to record a meeting in advance

Hello!  I was invited to a zoom meeting that I cannot attend.  Is there a way as a participant (not the host) to set the meeting to record for viewing later?

I have been sending recordings of pilates and barre classes to my clients for a while now.  However Wednesdays says the passcode is invalid????  I have no idea why.  I can see it.

Question I have is I want to "unassociate" from a Pro account but I already have my own personal account which I do not want to lose because I have a special personal virtual background set up.  Seems the only way Zoom has to "unassociate" with a pro account also involves creating a new personal account.  Anyone has suggestions? When I record a meeting to the cloud, I get an email notification, and I can see the recorded meeting in the desktop app. The meeting URLs are different in each, but the password is the same. I had a coworker tell me the URL from the email didn't work for them, although it worked for me.

 

Why are the URLs different? Is this a bug?
