Hi,

We have a meeting where we need to send a separate invitation inviting them to a Zoom meeting to a "guest speaker" but we also need to send the same invitation to our required attendees who are part of the Committee. Today, when we sent the invitation to the guest speaker's email - the Zoom app in Outlook automatically created a calendar appointment on Outlook for that email. Then, when we sent out the calendar email invite for all the required attendees - it created a duplicate calendar invite in Outlook.

We are trying to figure out if there is a setting that will prevent two duplicate calendar entries from the Zoom app in Outlook or if this is a bug that needs to be worked on by Zoom. The meeting ID for both were the same. Nothing in the emails were different except the body of the message. The zoom invitation (copied by the app into the Outlook invite messenger window) was the same also.

Upon conducting some research, it appears that other Zoom users who have Outlook or Gmail have the same issue as well...so we think it may be a bug or a missing setting but just want to confirm.

Thanks for any help.

The reoccurring tab in my meetings does not show up. It stopped showing up on the tab once I configured Zoom to my outlook. I tried to find an answer how to fix this and google stated to: Go to Profile > Calendar and Contact Integration, then select Configure Calendar and Contact Service.

I did this and it is still not showing up.

Hi.

I'm not overly tech savey.

I want to use a QR on my business card for my recurring weekly meeting.  Not sure which url to use.

(1)  In the My Meetings area and clicking on a meeting there is and 'invite link'.

(2)  Once in a live meeting under 'Particpant' you can get an 'invite link'.

Those two links are different from one another.

Should I only use the link (1) for my QR code on my business card?

Thanks in advance.  I hope this makes sense.

..Lynda

Postcards

I took several postcard photos last week with no problem. I cannot open the ones I took today. It says they are saved in a zoom format and even "Open with" does not work. Is there a special way to open  them?

Don't know what to do now.  I've always loved zoom but this is really affecting my business and I'm very unhappy.  Apparently, I'm not able to access a live tech support person with my level of subscription...which is really a ripoff.. Considering moving to another platform

Does meeting history only show PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED meetings??

I have subscribed to the basic paid-for tier recently and since then have had 4 meetings, of which one was prescheduled, and all the other three were just meetings I started and sent invites to the other person "from inside" the meeting.

I wanted to use the zoom history records for my billing purposes, but I can't see these meetings (which clearly constitute my zoom usage!) in my "previous meetings" tab. Only the one I had scheduled before it started.

Is this normal? Is there a place where the full record of the usage is held?

Thanks,

Hello.
I wonder if anyone can suggest a way for me to open up and run a meeting on zoom.
I have been given the id and codes for the meeting (which officially starts at 8.30a.m), but we wish to use the space from 6a.m
I am signed in as my account, but cannot find any page which allows or permits me to become host of the meeting (only my own private 45 minute meeting)
Im sure theres a simple solution, many thanks.
Graeme.

I host a book club via Zoom.  I was out of town one week and gave my co-host my login so she could host.  Now, even though she is only entering the zoom meetings via the link (not logging in), she is logged in as me, and the video will not work properly.  She has cleared her cache and cookies, but it did not correct the issue.  Any suggestions?
