From the terminal where the plug-in is installed, RDP to the virtual machine, start Zoom for VDI, enter the Meeting ID and try to join, but when you try to join, the message 「The media engine of the Zoom plug-in cannot be started. Please contact support to resolve this issue. Please contact us.」 is displayed. Please tell me how to respond.

When in a meeting with at least one other, their image ... video...(whatever you would see in their 'Brady Bunch' box) flickers onto my square... over my video.

When my cam is off, it's stable.

I can use my cam in Skype and Google Chat, with no issue.

I logged in to a secondary account, on Zoom, and it still did it.

I am seeking advice on how to eliminate feedback during a Zoom call when two presenters are at the same table & within close proximity.  I have a MacBook Pro & am the host controlling the waiting room, answering questions verbally & via chat etc.  During a recent meeting with another presenter at an 8' table & presenting both verbally & via screen share/power point there was so much audio feedback from having the computers to close & with both audio systems working we had to stop presenting.  Suggestions on how to fix?

1.  I am seeking suggestions on how to have a Zoom meeting with two people at the presenters table & not have audio feedback that disrupts the meeting.  Is there something in settings I can adjust in my MacBook Pro or other suggestions on how to correct this?

2.  If I adjust the "Settings" section or audio on my computer or make other suggested changes can I still easily talk with people on the call while managing the waiting room & chat or Q & A options?   Welcome any insights & specific setting adjustments & specifically what to change.  Thanks-KFLO23

How do you disable the confirmation prompt when leaving/ending a meeting you're hosting?

Hi. I finally have a macropad and want to build some Zoom keys. My first one should be one-click to exit a Zoom meeting.

I know:

  • ALT-Q is the standard keyboard shortcut
  • It can be made global
  • In the General options, you can disable confirmation when leaving a meeting, but this only works if you're a guest
  • Upon issuing an exit command
    • If you're a guest, focus shifts to the red Leave Meeting button and you can press Enter (most of the time)
    • If you're a host, focus shifts to the red End Meeting for All button and you can press Enter (most of the time)

Mapping ALT-Q into a macropad key and disable confirmation when leaving a meeting, we're good if you're a guest. But I host as many (more?) meetings as I attend, and it doesn't work there.

For the record/geek cred: I can simulate pressing ENTER on the confirmation prompt in AutoHotkey:

WinClose, ahk_class ZPContentViewWndClass ; Close command
Sleep, 250 ; Wait x ms to allow confirmation dialog to appear/accept input
Send, {ENTER} ; Focus is on End Meeting For All option, so just press Enter

Return

It works from my external keyboard, but is ignored from my macropad. The point of using the macropad is to never have to look at the keyboard when I'm presenting. This is not an AutoHotkey help request or a macropad help request, but I wouldn't turn it down. 🙂

How do you disable the confirmation prompt when leaving/ending a meeting you're hosting?

Hello, I am having a very frustrating issue where Zoom is crashing my Windows laptop consistently.  I've reinstalled Windows 10, turned off HW accelerate but still happens.  Zoom becomes somewhat unusable.  This must be happening to someone else?

Does my CPU and HW configuration have anything to do with this?  I have a Lenovo Legion 5 Pro laptop with the AMD 5800H CPU and with Radeon graphics and 64GB of RAM.  I am running on a high performing SSD.

FIRST:  I provided a custom password for a series of recurring meetings for which attendees are required to register.

The password shown in the registration conformation email is different. How do I get the custom password that I set to reflect in the registration confirmation email?

SECOND When I tried a "test" registration, I discovered that the text in my only custom question was not showing. The required answer is single choice. That did not show either. But the red "*" showed up, demanding that the (non-existent question be answered.

Unfortunately, as only a Pro Plan User, Zoom no longer helps me with specific issues.
