Can someone please give me some things to help him? Although I don't think his meetings are "hijacked" (he is in the older age range & believes many things about technology), but I'm not really certain... Many thanks in advance!

Thank you for looking into this.

I scheduled a year’s worth of Zoom “meetings” for the Divine Service, Sundays at 10 AM.  In addition, I scheduled a year’s worth of Tuesday study meetings at 1 PM.

At both meetings, when I try to start the meeting, I am told: “Another person is hosting this meeting. You must join as a guest.”  I have never been able to join even as a guest to find out who this is.  No one to whom I have sent the email invitation is able to join as guest either.  This tells me that the invitations are hijacked by some hacker – probably not even a person, just some algorithm.

When I set up the meeting immediately before each event begins, send out the invitations, and start the meeting right away, I can have a normal meeting with me as host.  It’s like it (they) doesn’t (don’t) have time to sabotage the invitation and hijack the meeting.

I do not have time to easily set up the meeting and send out the invitations on Sunday mornings.  I did it this past Sunday and I was very rushed. Thank you for your help on this …thing.

I'm using my Canon EOS M50 as my webcam via Canon EOS Utility tool. Before it's working so fine until the new updates came in. Now it has these invisible borders around the video feed. I think it's because of the new Virtual Background app. I tried to uninstall and install Zoom, the video feed is okay until Zoom forces me to download the Virtual Background app.

I sometimes use zoom when the internet connection will drop occasionally.  It can drop for 10 to 30 seconds and then come back.  After about 20 seconds, Zoom closes the app.  It restarts and reconnects.  This takes about another 30 seconds and does some annoying things - steals focus, resets the screen layout, and when running with multiple monitors opens the app on a different monitor.   When I use Webex, it tolerates the drop-outs with far less disruption.  It looks to me like the timeout value it uses for lost connection before  it decides to restart is much longer.  This makes the experience better.  

Is there any way to set the timeout value for the internet connection to be longer?  30-40 seconds would be a lot better in this case.   Not all the world has gigabit fiber and dodgy connections are a reality many places.

When I go to my Profile and click on meetings and then click on Previous it is saying that I have no Previous meetings.

I would Like to see all From 1/1/2023 until Present just the Dates and Times

I am on the board of a medium sized community organization, and we hold quarterly meetings.  The meetings look like a city council meeting + online zoomers.  So there is the 6-member board at a head table, with an audience ranging from 30-100 depending on attendance, sitting in chairs facing the table.  We have a camera/microphone/speaker that captures the Board video and audio.  I need to plug in a second camera for the audience (suggestions welcome).  But my real question is:  Can I use a (hopefully wireless) microphone that can be handed to audience members so they can ask questions, with clear audio feeding into the Zoom meeting?  Thoughts?  Suggestions?

I was once invited to a Zoom meeting or webinar session (perhaps a webinar) hosted by a government office. 

Prior to attending the zoom session, the participants must register first.  After that, the host sent us a zoom link that directs the participant into the zoom session (no manually input user ID nor passcode).

During the zoom session, the name of all participants is locked (unchangeable) with the pre-assigned name / determined by the host.

I wonder to know whether such functionality is available on zoom meetings and how to pre-set the assigned name of the participants.

This is important when we have a zoom session and the participants have not registered nor log in hence the name of their device is shown as their ID or name.

I am looking for a note taking app extension that will transcribe my meetings from English to Spanish. I would also like to include standard features such as exporting notes into Word and Google Docs applications, summarizing key meeting points, and be available to use on meetings joined through my iPhone. 

I am looking for any app recommendations that are compatible with Zoom. Even if I have to pay to utilize this app, that is fine.
