New Connection Issues with Zoom

On a Mac, for several months, have been unable to successfully join a meeting. If I launch the app, enter a meeting ID, I get a "An unknown error occurred, Error Code: 100056000." In Chrome, if I browse to zoom.us, and then select join, I get a "This... Show more

On a Mac, for several months, have been unable to successfully join a meeting.  If I launch the app, enter a meeting ID, I get a "An unknown error occurred, Error Code: 100056000."  In Chrome, if I browse to zoom.us, and then select join, I get a "This site can't be reached, the connection was reset, ERR_CONNECTION_RESET.  There is a '!"  in front of zoom.us/join, and when I click on it, I see a "Your connection to this site is not secure"  If I click on cookies, and  remove them for zoom.us, and click on reload, I get to the next page. I can enter a mtg id, , it opens the zoom app, and back to the original message.  I have disabled the virus checker.  I have installed the latest OS update (OS Ventura).  Uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom.  If I try to login on that computer, I can move through the pages if I remove the cookies each time, but cannot login without getting an "Oops! We were unable to complete your request.  Please try again. (300).  There is no VPN running.  No limitations in the firewall.  Any suggestions?  It did work for years on this computer with no problem.  Every other device in the house it works on.

I receive this error message every time I try to connect to youtube or facebook live.

Please help!

We are unable to do upgrade the zoom client version from 5.11 to 5.14 via Intune automatically without user sign in. 

For upgrading the version, the user has to sign in first before they could updating the version. 

 

Is there anyway that we could configure policy to ensure the Zoom Client can upgrade without sign in?

Closed Caption Translations

If enabled by the account holder, are users able to access CC in their language through their Zoom phone app? Or must they login to their Zoom account to use this feature? For those who are using this feature, I see some are saying it's inconsistent.... Show more

Video settings issues

I have an open tickets for days now, i have the pro version and i dont have the option to pick HD on my video setting....there are 2 black side bars on my videos that look very unprofessional, i need to figure out how to remove those from the videos.... Show more

I have an open tickets for days now, i have the pro version and i dont have the option to pick HD on my video setting....there are 2 black side bars on my videos that look very unprofessional, i need to figure out how to remove those from the videos...someone help please.

 

In the image below you see 2 black sides sometimes it appears horizontal sometimes vertical - i dont know whats going on.  Please help.  So the videos arent coming out 16:9

Hello, I've been using Zoom for a while, and apart from the screen freezing from time to time, I've had no problems. This week, however, in two different meetings, each with one other person, our video pictures started flickering wildly and jumping all over the place, so badly that we had to shut down the video and switch to audio only. I've never had this problem before, and I wonder if anyone else has, and if so, how it can be fixed? I did try asking Zoom support but they said they were unable to respond at the moment. I am wondering if Zoom has a picture in picture function? I am aware that you can get a floating video but it is so small and I can't alter the size of it. 

speaker output not working on test on windows 11, new laptop

I have a new laptop, with windows 11. My first attempt at Zoom on this laptop and I can't get sound out of the speaker output test.  Input is ok, I can hear things my end ok. I have followed all the suggested moves on both chat line and on line you tube, but no luck. I have also had a chat line with Microsoft who found no problem with the laptop. I also have contacted the tech support of the laptop who found no problem with the laptop. The problem is with Zoom but I can't get to speak to someone to explain the problem. Does anyone have any idea of what else I can try? I have looked at results in the community here but no-one seems to have had any success, or suggestions that would help me with my problem. 

The strange thing is I can get the test sound by disabling access but then I can't get the input sound.

All of a sudden my HP laptop camera is not turning on in a Zoom meeting. When I join the meeting it works to show myself, and when I go into video settings during the meeting I also see myself.  So camera is operating. However when I try to start the video it only gives me an error message that video won't start. This began days ago and repeated clicking on start video made it work, but today it won't budge. I've restarted laptop, deleted and reloaded zoom. Help! Need it.
