For security's sake, think about adding a "Push to Talk" option to the Microphone audio settings?

Other than that, user awareness: adjust background noise suppression to the most aggressive setting, mute self when typing, etc..

This weekend my ZOOM Client started showing a new problem:

I use WINDOWS 10 PRO OS on two laptops and have the same symptom.

When signing in to my account and opening ZOOM Client, I clicked Join Meeting but the client returned to the Join Meeting prompt. I then uninstalled ZOOM 5.15.5, re-booted, and re-installed ZOOM Client. No success.

I am forced to join the meeting via browser Chrome.

Did anyone encounter this new issue? Is it a ZOOM Client problem?  Please help.

I'm using a MacBook Pro and a Blue Yeti Microphone

When I start my meeting I check my sound and make sure everything is working properly, but once I start RECORDING after a little while a message pops up asking me if I want to connect my sound. This disrupts my recording and although I go through the steps and by all the "tests" everything is working, after i end the meeting and go to replay there is NO SOUND.

Everything is connected properly. The Mic works fine in all my other programs. Something is wrong with ZOOM and is very frustrating.

When I try to zoom my son's piano lesson with his instructor, the piano music is totally disappeared in zoom.

Only voice is audible. I did a microphone test in zoom. Only voice was recorded and nothing else. I also played with the audio setting such as original sound but nothing changed.

So why is zoom only allowed voice and nothing else?  I wonder because I'm on a basic account.

Thanks

Recurring meetings went away

Hello,

Today I updated to the newest zoom app on my MacBook. I have reccurring zoom links. After it updated I noticed on the left hand side that my recurring zoom links went away. How do I get my recurring meeting links put back in my account?

Resolved! Placdeholder photo when video off

Several people in my meetings have profile photos when their video is off, and I did at one time. However it now defaults to black screen with my name.  How do I restore the profile photo as a place holder?

I tried to start my own meeting today and got caught in a vicious cycle. The system told me to update the software, but when I complied, I got an error message and was asked to "retry." I did this repeatedly with no success. I tried to log in manually with my email and password, same result. I tried using my meeting ID and pass code. I was always returned to the vicious cycle of trying to update and being told to retry, with no success. I rebooted my computer, but it did nothing. I cancelled the meeting, created a new one, same result. A colleague created a meeting and invited me to join, same result. It feels like I'm in an episode of The Twilight Zone. Any clues?
