Hello all, 

 

My enterprise consistently runs out of allocated space to save Zoom cloud recordings and we were interested in the possibility of hosting our own server to save the recordings. I know we have the option to do this manually, but is there a way to automate the process or change the location of the server from the Zoom cloud to our own independent server? 
I looked in the help articles and only see options for this with on-premise meetings. My enterprise if fully remote scattered across the US so on-prem option isn't viable. Any insight or info on this is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Live Transcription transcribing wrong language

Hi, I have a problem with links on Zoom.

They doesn't work!

I'll explain.

If a link is sent to me to participate in a webinar, the Chrome screen (which I use as my default browser) opens, but then by clicking on the start meeting button, the Zoom application does not start and I cannot connect to the webinar.

The same thing happens with program links: if a webinar participant shares a link in the chat and I click on it, instead of opening the resource to which the link refers, nothing happens.

And the same happens, for example, if I go to settings/feedback and click on the "Help center" link, nothing happens in this case either.

In practice it is as if all the Zoom links were deactivated.

I updated zoom to the latest version, i've also uninstalled it and reinstalled the last version, the 5.14.2.

 

I have a paid account and I work on a computer running Windows 10 Professional.

I want my participants to use be able to use the arrow tool that display their name and does not disappear.
When testing the tool with my producer it worked by clicking the "arrow" not stamp under the annotation tool bar. However, in my last two sessions when my participants tried to use the arrow it did not stick to the screen, it disappeared after a few seconds. I even had a slide showing them the steps. I am unsure why this happened.

My question: Is there actually the functionality for participants to click on the screen that displays and arrow with their name and it sticks to the screen (not disappearing after a few seconds)?

I currently have a link that I use for a recurring meetings. I want to change the End Date for the recurring meeting. Will that change the link to the meeting? I've sent out the link to my club members and I want to know if changing editing the recurring meeting end date will invalidate the link they have and if I have to send a new one.

NO AUDIO AND TEST MEETING DOES NOT TEST ANYTHING

I was just in a meeting earlier and the other person could not hear me. It was a courthouse that does this all the time so I can be pretty certain the issue was on my end.

Also, I had used Zoom last week and it worked fine with no audio issues.

I tried using the chat, but cannot do that without signing in. SO, I signed in and tried again. Then I am told my account does not have support! WTF!

I tried going to 'zoom.us//test' but that did nothing at all really. The instructions say the test meeting will display a pop-up window to test things. THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN. The test video shows up and there is a small fixed window at the bottom of the page that is labeled 'test results' and says 'microphone' with a check mark and 'camera' with a check mark. I am not able to click on either of those items. Also it says "contract support" and is underlined like it is a link....However, it is not clickable.

SO, THE ZOOM TEST IS USELESS.

 

How can I test my audio to make sure it is being sent to the other end?

Please, add the Ukrainian flag to emojis. You could support us in such way. It's awful that there is russian flag, but there is no Ukrainian one.

We have two hosts registered & paid for but Zoom allows only to share screen. Do you know why?

my internet was disconnected during a recording conversion

While my computer was still converting a recording of my meeting, my internet got disconnected. Can I still recover my recording? If it is possible, how to do it? I have tried using zTscode to no avail. Can somebody help?
