If I had scheduled a meeting before the upgrade, will it be able to accommodate up to 500 participants now, or will it be limited to the previous capacity of 100 participants ?

I used to be able to schedule monthly recurring meetings and have only a certain zoom link. Now even though I set it up as such, the minute I make it a recurring meeting it defaults back to a new number (and not my typical zoom

The reason this is a problem is that if I have an ongoing meeting happening on the zoom line already then it starts a whole new meeting (and other people are kicked out).

I’m always requested by my firm to be part of a meeting where a video needs to be shared and viewed by the participants. This is because every time I share a video it plays really smoothly, cleanly and without stuttering. I implement all the features to support this (play the local file, optimise for video, hardwire my device etc etc). The one major difference between myself and all the other staff, is that I use a high end Mac, fully specked out, and play from QuickTime. Whenever I advise others to play (the same local video file) from their Windows (11 I think) Laptops using the native Media player, it never works as well. The video stutters, becomes pixelated etc.

My underlying question is; does the simple fact I’m playing the video file from a much more powerful CPU and graphics card likely to be the root cause of this? That being the case, I’m permanently going to be needed to play a 2 min video in a 3 hour long meeting/webinar!

so this is not really a problem, but I’d love to understand how much Zoom (and specifically video sharing) relies on local hardware capabilities.

thanks for any views in advance.

Hi. I feel like I pretty much know the answer to this and my recording is gone but would like some confirmation. I started recording a meeting, on a work zoom account (I think it is a pro account) and as it was ending I hit pause and then accidentally hit record and then end. When the meeting converted, I assumed there would be two recordings, one of the majority of the meeting and one of the last two minutes when I had hit record and end. However once converted, I only have one recording and it is unfortunately only the last two minutes of this meeting. Just wondering if the recording was overwritten or if there is anything I can do to get the previous recording.

I tried doing what I did on my regular account (redid my mistake) and when I went to convert I had two recordings.
