I have a problem: I can only write with the onscreen keybord of windows 10. Since the last zoom update it always interrupts the word prediction and I have to write letter after letter. Can anyone fix this?
I have a MacBook Air that's a few years old. 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5, 16 GB memory. Works fine when Zoom isn't open. When I'm in a Meeting, performance degrades significantly in my browser (Chrome), particularly when I open a Google Doc. The time it takes to render a web page or view a Google Doc doubles or triples. It's worst with big docs (50 - 75 pages); they often won't render no matter how long I wait. I can see the CPU taking a big hit when I open a big doc. Apple claims this CPU/memory combo should be plenty to handle this set of applications. Not sure what to do?

I'm not sure what section this should be in. I'm on Windows 7 and was forced by zoom to update to the newest version.
Now it takes over 3 min to start up and another 3 to join any meetings.
It used to be instant.
Because of this severe delay, I thought it was just getting hung up and just wasn't working so I've been doing the whole uninstall, reinstall, reboot, etc... thing the past few days trying to get it working until I now saw that it just takes forever to load.
I've noticed that it creates 9 instances of msedgeview2.exe in my processes now, which I never noticed before.
Either way, this is way too long in todays computing world for an app to open. I'm looking at 6 min total to get into a meeting now when a few weeks ago before the forced update, it only took a few seconds.
Does anyone know of any fixes and/or how to turn off the auto-updates? I don't like them being on for this specific reason.
This is really bad if now it's going to take over 6 min to join a meeting through the program, or now forcing me to buy a new computer because the app updates are crippling my functionality.

My meetings are not recording. I've gone into settings and click on record to the cloud and made it live. I'm using personal rooms and all the meetings are posted that it is being recorded. I get an email when people have clicked in but no email when the recording is done. What's up with that?

It would be nice if Zoom generated a code consisting from mixed characters, both numbers and digits for PMI . I had a user who had a purely numeric passcode starting with 0. While the user passcode got copied into a Google table, Google automatically converted the passcode into a number since it only consisted from numeric characters, and the left most 0 got truncated. As a result, some users were unable to join the conference since 0 character got removed. Can this be forethought? I get it's not Zoom's fault, but it would be nice if Zoom safeguarded such situations. Thank you in advance.

When I started a scheduled meeting last night on my phone, I made another participant the host so she could record it for us. The meeting was not set up with automatic recordings. Where would the recording be? I am using the free Zoom.
Thanks!
Hi everyone! Can anyone tell me if there is a way to get your zoom meetings history for a certain month?
I held a zoom meeting on June 15, 2023. I recorded the meeting but I cannot find it.
