When I'm going to Cloud Recordings I don't see any recordings. Should I pay for subscription to access my recordings or they are descroyed when account becomes free?

Hello,

I have been recording my organizations meetings to the cloud so that anyone could access them.  Our storage is getting full and I want to now download the meetings to a desktop.  I can download the file but can't figure out how to actually save them.  I'm hoping more experienced users can assist me.  For reference, I have an Asus laptop.  TIA.

I have paid for a Pro account and two licenses so I and an employee of my small nonprofit can host meetings.  It was my understanding that with two licenses we could host separate meetings simultaneously.

Under "user Management" I have added her (using her email) with role of "member" and it shows she's licensed.  I am identified as "owner" and also licensed.  I created a meeting and made her an alternate host.  She received an email about that with the link.  She clicked the link to start that meeting, which she did successfully. It showed her as host, with her own identity.

Then I tried to start a different meeting at the same time, and I got a pop-up that said "You have a meeting that is currently in progress.  Please end it to start a new meeting."

How do I solve this problem? This is terrible.  I have a board mtg on Monday afternoon at same time as a class that the other licensed person is hosting on the account.   I have read on Zoom that we should be able to each host a separate meeting at same time.  See the excerpted section below which is from this link: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/206122046-Can-I-Host-Concurrent-Meetings-

John has upgraded and is now a Licensed user on a Pro account. He invites Paul to his account as a Licensed user.

  • John can schedule as many meetings as he wants, but can only have 1 meeting active at a time, regardless of if he is actually present in the meeting or not.
  • Paul can schedule as many meetings as he wants, but can only have 1 meeting active at a time, regardless of if he is actually present in the meeting or not.
  • John and Paul's meeting limits are independent of each other, meaning they can both host a meeting at the same time, as long as they each schedule one of those meetings (as opposed to John scheduling and hosting them both). The same goes for other users on the account.

When we retrieve a recording from Trash, and specify an expiry date (say 3 days), the recording is always returned to Trash within 24 hours, often before the person for whom the recording has been retrieved has had the opportunity to view it.  Is there any reason why this should be?  There are no other recordings in the current section, only in Trash, and according to Zoom, recordings in Trash do not count towards the storage allocation, so I don't think that allocated space is the issue.

Why do I have to wait 10 minutes before resuming hosting my meeting? I am unable to re-enter the meeting I was hosting after the 40 minute call limit kicked in. This has happened twice today, in two different meetings, I receive a message  telling me I have to wait 10 minutes before I can resume hosting. Can you verify that this is now what you are officially doing? Are you now forcing people to either purchase a subscription or to look for other free video hosting communication platforms?

Hi!

I've never had an issue with logging onto zoom from my home desktop before today.  I tried logging in a few hours ago - and I can get into my (basic account) - but if I try to host a meeting, I keep receiving a message that I need to update to the latest version of zoom in order to use the app.

I can't figure out what to do from here.

Thank you!

Hello!

Have been researching and troubleshooting to figure out why recording is stuck on 640x320 during a one-on-one recorded meeting.

  • Host using desktop, other participant on Ipad
  • Host has HD enabled
  • Using "speaker view"
  • Recording saved to local HD

Do the settings of the other person "not the host" matter? Do they need to enable anything? Is because they are using an Ipad?
