Joining a meeting - Required to have the Zoom App?
I don't seem to be able to find the answer to this simple question. Are participants I invite to meetings required to have the zoom app or to download the zoom app when joining?

during the meeting some participant can't enter, they get message authorised people only or other message so my a question is , there is any log to analyze after the meeting what went wrong ?
Hi, When a host is sharing his/her screen with the sound to me, the sound disappears after a while for me (as a attendee). I can hear the sound very well in the beginning but after some seconds it sounds very silent, like filtered and almost inaudible. If I change speakers in my audio settings the sound comes back but again, disappears after some seconds. Other participants never had this problem. I can hear the voices of the presenters always very well, it's just the sound from a shared screen that isn't working well for me. The same happens when I use earphones. I am using Windows 11 Home. Thank you for your help.

Hello everyone, I tried to install Zoom on a MacBook Pro but when I install it, it shows a fail message, it says the installation program failed and I don't have any error code or something like that and I really need Zoom on my Mac, does anyone have a solution please ? Indeed, I double click on the package, it opens the installer, then I click on Continue, then on Install, it asks for password or to use Touch ID, then I put my finger on the button, it configurates the installation and then it says that installation has failed, so what should I do ? Please change your icon, which is now the Russian Zed military symbol. It is offensive to those with family members directly impacted by the war. Either zoom supports the Russian invasion or has no sense of the atmosphere. Either way, it’s a bad look, and I would boycott if it weren’t used by my company.

I am curious if anyone has this problem or knows of a good solution. I often host meetings with a large number of participants (100+) and sometimes people will use the chat feature to ask for things, such as to have screen sharing enabled, to be spotlighted, etc. I know users can raise their hand and that will bring their video to the top of the list. But sometimes they do not know how to raise their hand, or they simply won't do it, and I have to search through pages and pages of videos looking for their screen name so I can click on their video to provide whatever it is they need. This is very frustrating since I've already started an interaction with them in the chat, but the options when clicking on a username in the chat are very limited. Is there some way to search for a specific user within a meeting so that their video can be brought up quickly? Or even a way to simply list all the users alphabetically so that I could find their video quickly?

Hi. I have invitation to ZOOM meeting which is expected 1.5 hour long. I have ZOOM Basic plan (40 minutes limitation). I do not organize this meeting, I'm attenter. Can I stay on meeting all 1.5 hour or is it necesary to purchase ZOOM Pro plan? It is one time action for me I'm not using ZOOM for other meetings.

I am having the most difficult time trying to add a MP4/video background to my screen. My zoom app only allows "adding images" but no videos. Do i need to upgrade zoom subscription in order to use a video filter/background?
