I am an administrative assistant and I manage calendars and meetings for a few people. As such, sometimes I need to log into their zoom account for various reasons. Ever since I logged into my boss's account, anytime I join a meeting I join as him. I've tried logging out and logging in as myself. I've even tried adding the zoom extension to my google calendar and logging in as myself, but to no avail. I still join with his name and profile picture and then I have to rename it and change the profile picture. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Zoom extension

Whenever I duplicate the scheduled meeting with Zoom extension of Chrome. It changes the meeting invite link and this issue is being faced recently. Does anyone knows if it is expected behaviour.

Make files available at meeting start?

In both meetings and webinars, I know it's possible to send files via the chat menu. But the chat doesn't show old entries when someone connects late, and it can get scrolled past easily as well. Is it possible to just have those files available at a... Show more

In both meetings and webinars, I know it's possible to send files via the chat menu. But the chat doesn't show old entries when someone connects late, and it can get scrolled past easily as well.

 

Is it possible to just have those files available at all times within the meeting? As soon as someone connects, they have the option to click on something to let them download any associated files? That way people who join early or late all have immediate access to the files. Thanks!

Lost non converted local recording :(

Hi All,

 

Hoping someone can help me. I set up a zoom meeting, which was set to locally record. At the end of the meeting, the file didn't convert as I had a previous meeting converting - have I lost the recording forever?

Side by Side Adjustment without mouse or trackpad use- Need to use keyboard

I am trying to figure out how to adjust the side by side view without using a mouse or trackpad. For accessibility; the keyboard needs to be an option for those who cannot use a mouse or track pad. Is there a keyboard shortcut for this?

Two of my colleagues have continuously encountered the following error message on the Zoom for Chrome plug-in:

 

Something went wrong.

We're sorry, we encountered an error processing your request. This may be caused by:

1. Network problems;

2. Remote server returned an error. 

 

We work remotely so this is happening to two different devices on entirely different networks, and the extension has continued to work for a third coworker. We've tried everything to fix this - uninstalling and reinstalling the plug-in, same with the actual chrome application, clearing cache and cookies. Nothing seems to be doing the trick. Does anyone have any potential fixes for this, or else a way to directly contact/troubleshoot with the plug-in devs?

Update to Version: 5.15.3 on Mac OS has had the effect of disabling iCal sharing capability. When scheduling, I'm unable to select an alternate calendar in the drop down window.
