I have used Zoom for several listening sessions and always record. I have a Zoom Pro account. Previously I have found that transcripts (captions) are provided automatically when recording. This is what Zoom information suggests.

During my last two meetings, one was missing the first 13 minutes of transcript (and I think this is the point where I asked for live captioning) and the other from yesterday produced a recording but no transcript/captions.

In my advanced settings I have enabled captions.

I know there is some lag time in providing the transcript, which may account for my meeting from yesterday. I am perplexed as to why I have an incomplete transcript from two days ago.

Has something changed in Zoom permissions or setting with regard to transcripts? I have a meeting from Monday (today is Friday) and the transcript is fine. I did not change anything about the meeting or settings between then and yesterday.

When I talk on a meeting, I can't hear the other person

I'm having an issue on meetings when I am talking to one other person (i don't notice this issue on group calls, when more than one person has joined the call with me). Basically, if I am speaking, it's as if the other person is on mute - even though... Show more

I'm having an issue on meetings when I am talking to one other person (i don't notice this issue on group calls, when more than one person has joined the call with me). Basically, if I am speaking, it's as if the other person is on mute - even though they aren't. If I'm speaking and other person also begins to talk at the same time, I can see their mouth move on the video but I can't hear anything until I stop talking, and then I can start to hear them again. What I want is for their audio to be enabled even when I'm speaking, so that I can hear if they start talking vs just looking at their video to see if they're trying to say something. 

I am thinking I have some setting enabled or something that is causing this, but I don't know what it is.

Editing the Invitation

How can I edit a meeting invitation? 

I can copy it but when I click on the edit option, it only opens the invitation up but it does not allow me to modify it.

Please can someone help me? I am trying to add virtual backgrounds to zoom yet it is saying that the admin has not allowed this... I am the admin and the owner of my zoom account. I need to be able to use specific backgrounds for my call tomorrow but I cannot add any new ones.  I can't find an email for Zoom or someone to talk to to help me.

Hide individual participant on ipad

Is there a way to keep gallery view but hide individual participants?  For example, if someone in a meeting is walking around a lot or just being distracting (or rude), can you hide the view of just that person on your screen?  I’m using an iPad. 

Video won't start when joining a meeting or creating one.

When trying to start a new meeting or join one, the window with the video would freeze. A temporary fix for this would be to unplug my camera via the USB, then the window for the meeting would unfreeze. When I plug my camera back in I'm able to select the camera to start the video.

 

Camera is a Logi Webcam C920e and I'm currently on Zoom version 5.15.6, which is the current version as of this post I believe.

I am trying to follow the instructions mentioned in this article but nothing happens when I use the keystrokes.

Local recording layout with black frame

Mixed accounts on my app

I have my own Pro account, however, I used the YWCA account because I was at a board meeting there, and needed to use the Y account. Now, my Zoom app says the Y account is my home account. When I went to use my account today, the Y account was used, ... Show more

I have my own Pro account, however,  I used the YWCA account because I was at a board meeting there, and needed to use the Y account.  Now, my Zoom app says the Y account is my home account.  When I went to use my account today, the Y account was used, which I did not want to happen. How did they get mixed up?  I am using an iPad for all of these meetings.
