Why can't I see my newly manually added contacts in the "invite" "Contacts" list, when I open a Zoom Meeting?
Hello, My name is Eyvanna and I am a Technical Recruiter. Recently, I have been working with a candidate who has suffered severe profound hearing loss. He communicates well via Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, so long as the live captions are on. The company he has been interviewing with, uses Zoom as a company standard for video interviews and meetings. My team and I have scoured the web looking for live closed-captioning options for Zoom, and have not been able to find any options that are not paid features through a third party. Some solutions require a subscription and monthly fees, others you pay 0.99 cents or more per minute. The interview process has been very frustrating for myself and the candidate due to a lack of live closed captioning options. Can anyone offer solutions?

Hi, There's nothing worse than sharing a screen without showing your face. I know people have the option of showing the gallery, but I don't think that's the best option. How can I show my video feed alongside my screen/window while sharing? I see that you can do it for PPT presentations, where you have your face in the foreground and you can move it around, but I don't see how to make it work with a window share or a fullscreen share. I'm looking for something like what most YouTube streamers do, but I want to do it with Zoom. Is this possible? If so how? If my only other option is to use a separate app, I'm OK with it, as long as the quality of the output works well. I tried something with OBS Studio some time ago and the quality was so poor that it was a disaster. Thanks, L

Hi there, I am running an online training - alone - with meditation (eyes closed!). People are paying for it and I'd like them to have easy trouble-free access no passcode, no waiting room (where i may not see them if my eyes are closed!) And again - I am all alone managing it. what's the easiest way? its also a series - every night for 6 nights thanks, Sinead

I am a teacher using zoom to teach physics online for High Schools unable to find a teacher. This year I have a student teacher (also online) and I have made him a co-host. The problem is I would like for him to see the chatbox I see so he can participate in answering student questions as well as seeing my answers to student questions. Is there a way that we can both participate in the chatbox when a student sends me a chat? Also, I would like for him to have the ability to create a breakout room and pull students in and out of class to address misconceptions or questions from the students. Is this possible?

I'm a Pro member. When logged into Zoom, I can see that my account is noted to be "licensed". When rescheduling a 60 minute Zoom session in Outlook, Zoom presents me a warning message letting me know the meeting will be limited to 40 minutes. As I understand Zoom's policy, I'm thinking there should be no 40 minute limitation on Pro customers sessions. Any advice?

I've been having an issue seeing spotlighted participants. I can see everyone else, but the spotlighted square goes black. Has anyone had this issue?
Hi there, This happens 9/10 times but not every time! When I share my meeting room ID, I will enter my room a minute or two before we start so I am ready. I sit there waiting and no one joins. Then I get an email saying 'people are in your room' - I then rejoin the meeting, or re-start the meeting and hey presto there they all are but I couldn't see them. This happens if I am STARTING the meeting, or joining my own meeting by entering the room number. Super frustrating as makes me late to my own meetings. Thank you kindly

Wasn't exactly sure how to title this, but here's my issue.
When opening zoom on the browser and click start meeting from there, then Launch meeting - the zoom desktop app launches BUT the meeting itself doesn't. It just brings me to the front page of the zoom desktop app. I've tried reinstalling zoom and clearing cache - there was even a point where zoom asked me to download it every time - with no results.
EDIT: Forgot to add - Yes, I can open the meeting through the app itself. But I do need zoom meets to start from the browser into the app as my job uses 3 different accounts for it (the permissions and subscription stuff are on these accounts)
