I've ended a meeting without saving the chat transcript. Is there a way to retrieve that?
This meeting isn't recorded.
Hi I am hoping to use two usb cameras with built in microphones on a laptop with the internal camera disabled. I know that I can switch between the two cameras in Zoom but does this also switch the audio from the camera ? There will be only one connection (USB) for each camera both video and sound coming down the same USB connection. Also would taking an audio feed off the laptops headphone or line out socket affect sound going out to Zoom? I hope someone can help with this please Regards Quez

Hi Colleagues, I did a recording of a meeting event via Zoom Cloud with an Android phone but the result only shows the participants video coming in and out (who ever was speaking) and not what the device was actually showing to the participants. I did confirm that the participants could see the host camera view but this was not what was recorded. I am a bit confused. Was I meant to pin the host device camera or how do you ensure what is actually recorded? Also, I seem to see different menu options for Windows, IOS and Androids Apps. I got emailed links to the mp4 recording and the text (Audio) transcripts fine. I assume there is no way to recover the host camera view in this case? Thanks.

While on my macbook pro, I get a loud shrill tone during Zoom sessions. It only seems to happen while I am using Safari rather than Chrome. I had my computer checked out by Apple and there is nothing wrong with it. I made a video while it happened but I can't attach it to this forum. The sound can be made quieter if I adjust the volume but I need my volume on so I can hear the people in my meeting. Has anyone seen this before and is it a Zoom /Safari problem? How can I fix it?

I am trying to update to the latest version of Zoom from my old iPad. After signing in it says I need the update to be 5.12.2 or higher. When I click update it asks me to download the last compatible version as the latest version is not compatible with this device. I click Download and get the same message again, and so it repeats. My iPad is 10.3.3 (14G60)

The Zoom FAQ indicates that as a paid meeting subscriber I can host a meeting up to 30 hours, way past my needs. I need to host a meeting that lasts 6-7 hours and to which intermittent attendees may attend. The 2nd info posted in FAQs contradicts the first, indicating that if the meeting has no participation for a period of time, it will be ended. This is what the FAQ says. Can someone explain the difference between these two scenarios? Meeting ends after 30 hours (active or idle) Meeting ends after 40 minutes (active or idle) Note: The meeting durations for paid users only apply to users assigned a paid license or using Webinar licenses (for webinars, panelists are treated the same as participants, however, attendees do not affect time duration). Users with basic (free) licenses on Pro, Business, or Education accounts are limited to the free license meeting durations. However, if a Basic user schedules a meeting and starts that meeting from a paid Zoom Room on the same account, the meeting will not end after 40 minutes, despite the number of participants. If the Zoom Room is a free trial, the meeting will still time out.
Thank you! Richard

Today (8-7-2023) I opened zoom on my iPad mini (1st generation) and then a popup came saying that the zoom app version has to be 5.12.2 or higher to sign in. It wouldn't let me join meetings either. I pressed the update button on the popup and it opened the app store, but it showed that it was on the last supported version and no further updates were available. I read through the version history in the app description and it says that zoom version 5.11.3 is the last version to support 32 bit ios devices; and that is the zoom version I have installed which isn't working. (It has the last supported ios version which is ios 9.3.5)
How can i get zoom to work on my iPad mini 1st gen?

I used zoom on windows xp for awhile with no issues than from out of nowhere, I could not connect anymore. The client keeps saying to update but it's already updated.
Has Zoom stopped support for older 'OS' machines?
During my weekly zoom conference my audio and video freeze up after 30 minutes. I am using an HP Chrombook and my speed is 38 down and 4.5 up load. This happens every time I use zoom.
