On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

lagging video on Ubuntu

I bought a Lenovo ThinkPad-E15-Gen-2 and installed Ubuntu 20.04.3 (dual-boot alongside Win 10).Google Meet video chats work fine.However, when using Zoom 5.8.0, my webcam video is laggy*. And when I choose a Virtual Background, it never takes effect.... Show more

I bought a Lenovo ThinkPad-E15-Gen-2 and installed Ubuntu 20.04.3 (dual-boot alongside Win 10).

Google Meet video chats work fine.


However, when using Zoom 5.8.0, my webcam video is laggy*. And when I choose a Virtual Background, it never takes effect.


I've also tried plugging in a Logitech C270 webcam, but it has the same problem on Zoom.


*When I move my arm, for example, the image of myself on the screen moves after a slight delay, which is enough to be disconcerting.


This was happening on Zoom 5.8.0 on Ubuntu 20.04.3.

Even after upgrading to Ubuntu 22.04.2 and Zoom 5.11.3, it is is still happening.

Could you please clarify if there is a limitation for 'Gallery view' when connected on the above-mentioned IPad device as an attendee? I'm able to use the gallery view only when the presenter is not sharing the screen. When the presenter starts screen sharing the option for 'gallery view' disappears. I'm able to only 'pin' a participant not view everyone in the 'gallery view mode'

Resolved! Enlarge mouse format (font)

I would like to enlarge the mouse size when I share the screen. Although I modify it in the settings it does not appear when I share my screen

줌결제를 했으나 40분 만에 회의 종료...

줌 결제를 진행하지 않으면 회의를 40분 밖에 하지 못하여 

결제를 했는데도 불구하고, 회의가 종료되었습니다. 

 

제대로 서비스를 받지 못했다면 제가 결제를 한 금액이 정당한지 여쭤보고 싶습니다.

Several of our clients over the last two weeks are having problems getting into our Zoom meetings.  The go to the calendar entry, hit the Zoom link, then there is a delay and the screen references something like:  ...being ReDirected...  Then there could be some steps to follow and then they finally get into the meeting, several minutes late and a bit flustered.  Any idea why they are having issues?  We have hundreds/thousands of Zoom meetings and I am not doing anything differently than all other Zoom invites that have never had an issue.  Yes, most are from the same company so maybe a firewall issue???  Thank you.

Polling in breakout rooms

I'm creating a meeting service and using Zoom meetings. Here is my case:

1. User book a meeting from my website.

2. HOST confirms the meeting from my website. I call API to Zoom to create a scheduled meeting at this step.

3. HOST and the user will join the meeting at the scheduled time.

 

From my system, I've around 100 HOST, so  I need to create multiple scheduled meetings at the same time.

Which option can I use for my system?

- Option 1:  I use my Zoom account to create all meetings (API) for all of them, assign ROLE (Co-host or something the same) to them, and they can join to their meeting at the same time.

- Option 2:  Use the HOST account to create the meeting.

My question is:

1. Can my account or HOST account join multiple meeting at the same time.

2. If not, is their any type of account can do that?

The microphone on this Windows 10 laptop works, except when using Zoom. When using Zoom as soon as I enter a meeting it says "Failed to detect your microphone and speaker. Please make sure your devices are properly connected" ... HOWEVER, if I click on the "Test speaker and microphone" option, the speaker works perfectly fin and the microphone is recognised, albeit stutteringly !!! I find this very bizarre !!!

If you can suggest anything that may be causing this (all drivers are up to date, many, many options have been tried and tested), then please suggest it, but I suspect I need to uninstall and reinstall Zoom.

I have seen posts saying that by doing this I will NOT lose any data, but I've also seen that I should run CleanZoom but nowhere categorically states that CleanZoom will not delete my data !!!

Any help much appreciated ...
