HERE IS THE PROBLEM! Audio in a PPT played in ZOOM is broadcast through the presenter’s computer’s speaker. ZOOM always transmits the audio it picks up through its default microphone or the microphone you plug in to your audience, If there is a software switch that electrically connects the audio-out to the audio-in, there’s no way to get around this. If you manage to find a way to make the connection, than you CANNOT also speak “live” to your audience. I used to write complex systems and evolutionary applications in C++. However, I don’t know the inside outs of Zoom. I only use it as a participant in conferences, so I guess I’m using the application in Windows and not a systems developer kit. It appears that a participant can share his one screen image and only one audio stream. Maybe there’s a software method to feed the audio stream embedded in PPT directly into the audio stream destined for the sharing audience? Or maybe I could do it with hardware plug-ins if I knew the schematics of the PC’s interior (i.e. how the internal PC mike and speakers are connected to the external sockets for and ad-on mike and headphone). And maybe there’s a way to build a mixer? The problem is that the audio from the PPT is transduced to an air-gap and transduced back into a digital signal. It’s the air gap that causes the problem. Anyway, that’s the only explanation that makes sense. Do you have a better one? I’ll keep experimenting… Nick Gessler
From there the computer’s microphone picks it up and sends it to your audience.
The transmission of the audio through the air to the microphone kills the volume by 90%!

Hi, Whenever I tap on a Zoom link on my Android phone, it launches Zoom but won't connect to the meeting. I used to be able to type in the meeting ID and passcode manually, but now even that's not working - this particular meeting wants me to register, which I've done multiple times. It launches just fine on my laptop. If it matters, the meeting registration is tied to one email account while my app is connected to another (I definitely don't want a different Zoom account for each email address that I use). Again, same email constraints on my laptop but the meeting launches just fine on it. Thank you

One of my users says that Zoom used to chime or jingle when a scheduled meeting was about to start to remind him to join, but the function has stoped. This is not the 5 minute pop-up message...that is still working. Is anyone aware of this chime function? I can't find it in the documentation.

I have a new JBL Quantum 400 USB wired headset that I'd like to use in a Zoom meeting. The problem comes when I attempt to share anything that has audio content. It seems Zoom sees the headphones on the headset as "Chat" earphones, while Windows sees them as "Game" headphones. I cannot select my Zoom speaker to be the "Game" headphones, nor can I set Windows to use the "Chat" earphones output while I have Zoom open. The net result is that no one in the meeting is able to hear anything I share in the meeting. Any thoughts?

Our organization uses Salesforce to track meetings and it's great that both Salesforce and Zoom are integrated in Outlook. For individual Zoom meeting, we can easily log the meetings to Salesforce through Outlook, but it does not work for recurring Zoom meetings. I believe it is because it uses the same meeting ID for each meeting. Is there a way to create recurring meetings that use different meeting IDs for each occurrence? Any workarounds to this?

Is there any automatic and automated way for me to create reports on the lives I do on Zoom? If so, can you tell me where I can look?
Just recorded a 40 minute talk (I hosted one other in my personal chat room link) on my MS Surface laptop Zoom using Record button (start and stop) and had it recorded to my computer, but CANNOT find where the Zoom recording is stored. I saw it initially in a window but now can't find it. Please help!!

I am a healthcare professional with a Pro Account of Zoom. I am able to host meetings without issues to my international clients except from China. For some reason, my attendees from China are unable to join the meeting and are shown a restriction message. I find that unusual and hoping to find a solution to fix this.

Does anybody can help me: how to set smitching microphones during the meeting in Zoom? It will be cool if I can make it with hot key.
