I have a meeting set up with 3 alternative hosts. I'd like them to be able to start the meeting independent of me.

The meeting also requires registration of attendees. The cannot use the standard meeting registration link to register and get the meeting link - it rightly tells them hosts do not register. However, they are not getting the emails for hosts that contains their meeting information. Is there a way to get this meeting link so I can send it to them directly? Or is that not possible because it is a unique link for each host? I'm trying to work with our IT to see if we can find out why they do not get these emails as well...but a more immediate workaround is needed.

Timer displays in desktop Plugin Settings but not web portal Settings (Version: 5.15.7)

Can someone tell me why the Zoom Timer is available and can be enabled in the installed desktop Plugin Settings, but I've searched and visually scanned the web portal Settings and I can't see it in that list. Is it because it's a third party app that... Show more

Can someone tell me why the Zoom Timer is available and can be enabled in the installed desktop Plugin Settings, but I've searched and visually scanned the web portal Settings and I can't see it in that list.  Is it because it's a third party app that local zoom admins have to make available?  This is really bugging me. It would be helpful to have a "why" to tell our employees so they aren't confused.

Does the meeting Add on automatically upgrade pre-scheduled meetings?

Video freezes, then zoom freezes, then unable to re-enter meeting

Hi all, 

I can have a zoom meeting on for a decent length of time, then suddenly my personal video freezes, then after a minute or 2, zoom goes 'grey' , blue circle of death comes on,  and can't control the app in any way, can't minimize even. Must use Task manager to exit meeting and close the zoom app, then when you re-open zoom all Blue Buttons are greyed out, and you can't join back into your meeting. I have tried to force stop and still can't 'join a meeting' which causes me to have to restart my computer and log back into everything, often missing vital meeting info. Plus having to do an emergency restart has caused me to lose important data .   I am not even getting unstable internet warnings or anything prior. I also have a UPS hooked up just in case of power bumps and have never lost internet due to power failure since.  I have uninstalled the app, and reinstalled / updated to no avail.  Naturally, These are major issues when trying to work.  Any help is greatly appreciated.    I'm signed in under my personal basic account, and joining a company meeting ( paid account for the host)  in case that means anything.   I have been working on the same computer for months and only recently experiencing this issue so wondering if its Update related. Any help is greatly appreciated.   Thank you in advance

Last week I was hosting a meeting in zoom and was presenting in powerpoint. When I was on the meeting chat to follow what was happening there, then my presentation froze and I could not click forward afterwards. I had to break the presentation and then go back in again.

 

How can I follow what is said in the chat at the same time as presenting in powerpoint without this happening? I am in a microsoft plattform, not apple. and using the zoom app.

I`d like to know why the quality of recorded zoom call changes even within one call. Sometimes the image from my web cam is quite good, and sometimes it is not. In the attached files there are two screenshots that were taken from one recorded call, all the settings were the same. What is the issue? Is it my internet speed or something else? I use Zoom on PC, version 5.15.7

 

 Any help and advice on how to improve the quality of video would be appreciated

So, I've been having this interesting phenomenon happen lately.  Three times I've lost a Zoom meeting recently.  The first two times it threw host to someone else on the meeting.  Today it completely ended the meeting for everyone.  My internet was completely stable, as I was actively using my browser.  The only similarity between all these meetings is that the original host (who started the meeting) had thrown hosting to me, because they had to leave.  Anyone else had this issue?
